Глава 46

1 Израиль отправился в путь со всем, что у него было, пришел в Вирсавию и принес там жертвы Богу своего отца Исаака.

2 Бог говорил с Израилем в ночном видении и сказал: — Иаков! Иаков! — Вот я, — ответил Иаков.

3 Он сказал: — Я — Бог, Бог твоего отца. Не бойся пойти в Египет, потому что Я произведу от тебя там великий народ.

4 Я пойду в Египет вместе с тобой, и Я же приведу тебя обратно. И глаза тебе закроет рука Иосифа.

5 Иаков отправился в путь из Вирсавии. Сыновья Израиля посадили отца, детей и жен в колесницы, которые фараон прислал, чтобы перевезти его.

6 Они взяли с собой скот и имущество, которое нажили в Ханаане, и Иаков со всем своим потомством пришел в Египет.

7 Он взял с собой в Египет сыновей и внуков, дочерей и внучек — все свое потомство.

30 Израиль сказал Иосифу: — Теперь я могу и умереть, потому что увидел своими глазами, что ты жив.
