Isaiah

Chapter 27

1 IN that day the LORD with his hard and great and strong sword shall punish Leviathan, the piercing serpent, even Leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

2 In that day sing to Israel of a vineyard of wine.

3 I the LORD do keep it; I will water it continually; I will visit it and keep it night and day.

4 You have no hedge; who then did set in you the briers and the thorns? I will blow at the vineyard from near and will burn it together.

5 Or let Israel take hold of my strength, and I will make peace for him, peace will I give him.

6 He shall cause those that come of Jacob to take root; Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit.

7 Has the LORD smitten the oppressor as he smote those who smote him? Or is he slain according to the slaughter of those who are slain by him?

8 In measure by which he has measured, will you judge him; in that which he has devised, in fierce anger on a day of blasting heat.

9 By this, therefore, shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven; and with all this fruit his sin will be taken away; when he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk-stones that are broken in pieces; likewise, the images and idols shall not stand up.

10 For the strong city shall be forlorn and deserted and forsaken and left desolate like a wilderness; there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down and consume its grass.

11 When its boughs are withered, they shall be broken off; the women come and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore he who made them will not have mercy on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor.

12 And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD shall stir up the people from the channel of the river Euphrates to the river of Egypt, and you shall be gathered one to another, O children of Israel!

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, the great trumpet shall be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Egypt and those who were scattered in the land of Assyria shall come in and worship the LORD in the land of the LORD, even on his holy mountain in Jerusalem.

2 В тот день3117 воспойте6031 о нем — о возлюбленном25612531 винограднике:3754

3 Я, Господь,3068 хранитель5341 его, в каждое мгновение7281 напояю8248 его; ночью3915 и днем3117 стерегу5341 его, чтобы кто не ворвался6485 в него.

4 Гнева2534 нет во Мне. Но если бы кто противопоставил5414 Мне в нем волчцы8068 и терны,7898 Я войною4421 пойду6585 против него, выжгу6702 его совсем.3162

5 Разве прибегнет2388 к защите4581 Моей и заключит6213 мир7965 со Мною? тогда пусть заключит6213 мир7965 со Мною.

6 В грядущие935 дни укоренится8327 Иаков,3290 даст6692 отпрыск6692 и расцветет6524 Израиль;3478 и наполнится4390 плодами8570 вселенная.8398

7 Так ли Он поражал5221 его, как поражал4347 поражавших5221 его? Так ли убивал2026 его, как убиты2027 убивавшие2026 его?

8 Мерою5432 Ты наказывал7971 его, когда отвергал7378 его; выбросил1898 его сильным7186 дуновением7307 Своим как бы в день3117 восточного6921 ветра.6921

9 И чрез это загладится3722 беззаконие5771 Иакова;3290 и плодом6529 сего будет снятие5493 греха2403 с него, когда все камни68 жертвенников4196 он обратит7760 в куски5310 извести,1615 и не будут уже стоять6965 дубравы842 и истуканы2553 солнца.2553

10 Ибо укрепленный1219 город5892 опустеет,910 жилища5116 будут покинуты7971 и заброшены,5800 как пустыня.4057 Там будет7462 пастись7462 теленок,5695 и там он будет7257 покоиться7257 и объедать3615 ветви5585 его.

11 Когда ветви7105 его засохнут,3001 их обломают;7665 женщины802 придут935 и сожгут215 их. Так как это народ5971 безрассудный,3808998 то не сжалится7355 над ним Творец6213 его, и не помилует2603 его Создатель3335 его.

12 Но будет в тот день:3117 Господь3068 потрясет2251 все от великой7641 реки5104 до потока5158 Египетского,4714 и вы, сыны1121 Израиля,3478 будете3950 собраны3950 один259 к другому;259

13 и будет в тот день:3117 вострубит8628 великая1419 труба,7782 и придут935 затерявшиеся6 в Ассирийской804 земле776 и изгнанные5080 в землю776 Египетскую4714 и поклонятся7812 Господу3068 на горе2022 святой6944 в Иерусалиме.3389

10 For the strong city shall be forlorn and deserted and forsaken and left desolate like a wilderness; there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down and consume its grass.

11 When its boughs are withered, they shall be broken off; the women come and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore he who made them will not have mercy on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor.
