Psalm 105

1 O GIVE thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him, talk of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 Seek the LORD, and be strong, seek his face evermore.

5 Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

6 O you descendants of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen.

7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

9 For he made his covenant with Abraham, and his oaths to Isaac;

10 And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,

12 When they were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and strangers in it.

13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

14 He suffered no man to do them wrong; yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

15 That they might touch not his anointed, and do his prophets no harm.

16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole stalk of their wheat.

17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant,

18 Whose feet they bound with fetters; he was laid in iron

19 Until the time that his word came; the word of the LORD tried him.

20 The king sent and released him, and made him a ruler over his people.

21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,

22 To discipline the governors at his pleasure and to teach the elders wisdom.

23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

25 He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants.

26 He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27 They showed his signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and yet they rebelled against his word.

29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the inner chambers of their kings.

31 He spoke, and there came different sorts of flies and lice in all their borders.

32 He turned their rain into hail; and brought flaming fire into their land.

33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and broke the trees within their borders.

34 He spoke and the locusts came and caterpillars, and that without numbers throughout their land.

35 And they devoured all the herbs and the fruit of their lands.

36 He smote also all the first-born of Egypt, the first-born of all their boys.

37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them fell upon them.

39 He spread a cloud to shade them, and fire to give light in the night.

40 The people asked, and he brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 He opened the rock and the waters gushed out; and water flowed in the dry land.

42 For he remembered his holy promise which he had given to Abraham his servant.

43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his young men with gladness,

44 And gave them the lands of the Gentiles; and they inherited the labor of the people.

45 That they might observe his statutes and keep his laws. Praise the LORD.

Псалом 105

1 Прославляйте Господа! Благодарите Господа за доброту Его; любовь Его беспредельна.

2 Неописуема великая любовь Господняя, безграничны должны быть наши похвалы Ему.

3 Блажен, кто соблюдает справедливость, кто праведен в любые времена.

4 Так вспомни, Господи, меня, когда покажешь людям доброту Свою, когда спасать их будешь, и ко мне приди на помощь.

5 Господь, позволь мне разделить с Твоим народом всё то хорошее, что делаешь Ты для него. Позволь мне быть счастливым с ним, вместе с Твоим народом восхвалять Тебя.

6 Грешили мы не менее отцов, творили беззаконие и несправедливость.

7 Когда отцы наши в Египте были, Твоих чудес не поняли они. Не помня доброты Твоей, восстали у моря Красного против Тебя.

8 Но Бог их спас ради Своего имени. Господь их спас, чтоб Свою силу показать.

9 Он повелел, и расступилось море, и Он провел как по суше их.

10 Господь спас их, избавив от врагов.

11 Покрыли воды их, и ни один не спасся.

12 Тогда Господу поверили отцы и в своих песнях восхвалили Его имя.

13 Но вскоре позабыли, что Он сделал, советами Его пренебрегли.

14 Но изголодались они в необитаемой пустыне и Господа решили испытать.

15 И Он исполнил всё, о чём они просили, но также и болезни страшные наслал.

16 И позавидовали они тогда Моисею, а также святому священнику Господа Аарону.

17 Земля разверзлась, поглотив Дафана и Авирона со всеми их людьми.

18 Вдруг пламя вспыхнуло, и нечестивцы все сгорели.

19 Они тельца возле Хорива сотворили и идолу золотому поклонились.

20 Израильтяне Господа святого променяли на изображение быка, жующего траву.

21 Они забыли спасшего их Бога, Который чудеса творил в Египте

22 и дива сотворил в земле у Хама, а также у Красного моря совершил великие дела.

23 Господь хотел истребить народ, но Моисей, Его избранник, встав пред Ним, умолял Господа не уничтожать людей, и Бог оставил их в живых.

24 И в землю благостную, Ханаан, идти они не пожелали, Господним не веря обещаниям, что Бог поможет им победить врага.

25 В шатрах своих они недовольство выражали и к Богу отказались в подчинение прийти.

26 Тогда Он поднял руку и поклялся, что погибнуть их в пустыне Он заставит,

27 а их потомков победят народы и разбросают их по всей земле.

28 Тогда в Ваал-Фегоре они Ваалу поклонялись и ели жертвы, чтобы почтить умерших.

29 И Бог от этого разгневался на них, и разразилась среди них чума.

30 Но Финеес молился Богу, и Господь смертельные болезни прекратил.

31 Он праведными считал поступки Финееса, и поэтому люди запомнят его имя навсегда.

32 У вод Меривы люди вызвали гнев Божий и на Моисея беды навлекли.

33 И огорчили люди Моисея, и согрешил устами он своими.

34 Они не уничтожили народы Ханаана, как им велел Господь,

35 а стали жить средь них, обычаи усвоив их.

36 Поклонялись идолам они, что стало их ловушкой.

37 И жертвовали демонам и сыновей, и дочерей своих.

38 Невинную кровь проливали, кровь сыновей и дочерей, которых жертвовали идолам, и осквернили землю кровью той.

39 Делами недостойными своими запачкали себя и осквернили.

40 И потому на них разгневался Господь, отвергнув Своих избранных людей.

41 Господь их передал другим народам, и стали ими управлять враги.

42 От угнетения врагов их жизнь невыносимой стала.

43 Господь их много раз спасал, но от Бога отвернувшись, они погрязли в собственном грехе.

44 Но зов их слышал Он, когда они в несчастье были,

45 и Он смягчился от Своей любви, и вспомнил соглашение, данное им.

1 Прославляйте Господа! Благодарите Господа за доброту Его; любовь Его беспредельна.

2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him, talk of all his wondrous works.

2 Неописуема великая любовь Господняя, безграничны должны быть наши похвалы Ему.

3 Glory in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

3 Блажен, кто соблюдает справедливость, кто праведен в любые времена.

4 Seek the LORD, and be strong, seek his face evermore.

4 Так вспомни, Господи, меня, когда покажешь людям доброту Свою, когда спасать их будешь, и ко мне приди на помощь.

5 Господь, позволь мне разделить с Твоим народом всё то хорошее, что делаешь Ты для него. Позволь мне быть счастливым с ним, вместе с Твоим народом восхвалять Тебя.

7 Когда отцы наши в Египте были, Твоих чудес не поняли они. Не помня доброты Твоей, восстали у моря Красного против Тебя.

8 Но Бог их спас ради Своего имени. Господь их спас, чтоб Свою силу показать.

18 Вдруг пламя вспыхнуло, и нечестивцы все сгорели.

19 Until the time that his word came; the word of the LORD tried him.

19 Они тельца возле Хорива сотворили и идолу золотому поклонились.

20 The king sent and released him, and made him a ruler over his people.

20 Израильтяне Господа святого променяли на изображение быка, жующего траву.

21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,

21 Они забыли спасшего их Бога, Который чудеса творил в Египте

22 и дива сотворил в земле у Хама, а также у Красного моря совершил великие дела.

23 Господь хотел истребить народ, но Моисей, Его избранник, встав пред Ним, умолял Господа не уничтожать людей, и Бог оставил их в живых.

24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

24 И в землю благостную, Ханаан, идти они не пожелали, Господним не веря обещаниям, что Бог поможет им победить врага.

25 He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants.

25 В шатрах своих они недовольство выражали и к Богу отказались в подчинение прийти.

26 He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.

26 Тогда Он поднял руку и поклялся, что погибнуть их в пустыне Он заставит,

27 They showed his signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.

27 а их потомков победят народы и разбросают их по всей земле.

28 Тогда в Ваал-Фегоре они Ваалу поклонялись и ели жертвы, чтобы почтить умерших.

29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

29 И Бог от этого разгневался на них, и разразилась среди них чума.

39 Делами недостойными своими запачкали себя и осквернили.

40 И потому на них разгневался Господь, отвергнув Своих избранных людей.

41 Господь их передал другим народам, и стали ими управлять враги.

42 От угнетения врагов их жизнь невыносимой стала.

43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his young men with gladness,

43 Господь их много раз спасал, но от Бога отвернувшись, они погрязли в собственном грехе.

44 And gave them the lands of the Gentiles; and they inherited the labor of the people.

44 Но зов их слышал Он, когда они в несчастье были,

45 That they might observe his statutes and keep his laws. Praise the LORD.

45 и Он смягчился от Своей любви, и вспомнил соглашение, данное им.
