Psalm 88

1 O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee;

2 Let my prayer come before thee; incline thine ear unto my supplication;

3 For my soul is full of troubles and my life draws near to Sheol.

4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit; I am like a man who has no strength;

5 Like a nobleman abandoned among the dead, like the slain that lie down in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more; they are lost to thee.

6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the shadow of death.

7 Thy wrath rests hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves.

8 Thou hast put away mine acquaintances far from me; thou hast made me an abomination to them; I am shut up and I cannot come forth.

9 Mine eyes are weakened from weeping; LORD, I have called daily upon thee; I have stretched out my hands to thee.

10 Behold thou wilt show wonders to the dead; the mighty ones shall rise and praise thee.

11 They that are in the graves shall declare thy lovingkindness, and thy faithfulness in destruction.

12 Thy wonders shall be known in the dark, and thy righteousness in the land that has been forsaken.

13 But to thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer come early before thee.

14 O LORD, forsake not my soul, and turn not thy face from me.

15 I am poor and afflicted from my youth; I have been proud, but now I am humbled and crushed.

16 Thy fierce wrath goes over me; thy terrors have silenced me.

17 They came round about me daily like water; they set themselves in array against me.

18 Friends and neighbors thou hast put far from me, and mine acquaintances thou hast kept away from me.

Псалом 88

1 Учение Ефама, из племени Зары.

2 Милости Господни буду петь вечно, в род и род возвещать истину Твою устами моими.

3 Ибо я уверен, что навек основана милость, и на небесах Ты утвердил истину Твою, когда сказал:

4 `Я поставил завет с избранным Моим, клялся Давиду, рабу Моему:

5 Навек утверждаю семя твое, в род и род устрояю престол твой`. (Села.)

6 Небеса проповедуют чудеса Твои, Господи, и истину Твою сонм святых.

7 Ибо кто над облаками равен Господу, кто уподобится Господу между сынами Божиими?

8 Бог достопоклоняем в сонме святых, страшен паче всех, которые окрест Его.

9 Господи, Боже воинств! кто силен, как Ты, Боже? И истина Твоя окрест Тебя.

10 Ты владычествуешь над яростью моря; когда оно воздымает волны свои, Ты укрощаешь их.

11 Ты низложил гордый Египет, как раненого, крепкою мышцею Твоею рассеял врагов Твоих.

12 Твое небо и земля Твоя; Ты создал вселенную, и что наполняет ее.

13 Ты сотворил Север и Юг, Фавор и Ермон о Твоем имени радуются.

14 Мышца Твоя крепка, сильна рука Твоя, высока десница Твоя.

15 Благость и правосудие - основание престола Твоего, милость и истина идут пред лицем Твоим.

16 Блажен народ, который знает трубный зов! Господи! во свете лица Твоего ходят они;

17 Весь день восхищаются именем Твоим, и превозносятся правдою Твоею.

18 Ибо Ты красота силы их, и благоволением Твоим возвышается рог наш.

3 For my soul is full of troubles and my life draws near to Sheol.	3 Ибо я уверен, что навек основана милость, и на небесах Ты утвердил истину Твою, когда сказал:
