1 The word1697 which834 came1961 unto413 Jeremiah3414 from4480 854 the LORD3068 in the days3117 of Jehoiakim3079 the son1121 of Josiah2977 king4428 of Judah,3063 saying,559

2 Go1980 unto413 the house1004 of the Rechabites,7397 and speak unto1696 them, and bring935 them into the house1004 of the LORD,3068 into413 one259 of the chambers,3957 and give them wine3196 to drink.8248

3 Then I took3947 853 Jaazaniah2970 the son1121 of Jeremiah,3414 the son1121 of Habaziniah,2262 and his brethren,251 and all3605 his sons,1121 and the whole3605 house1004 of the Rechabites;7397

4 And I brought935 them into the house1004 of the LORD,3068 into413 the chamber3957 of the sons1121 of Hanan,2605 the son1121 of Igdaliah,3012 a man376 of God,430 which834 was by681 the chamber3957 of the princes,8269 which834 was above4480 4605 the chamber3957 of Maaseiah4641 the son1121 of Shallum,7967 the keeper8104 of the door: 5592

5 And I set5414 before6440 the sons1121 of the house1004 of the Rechabites7397 pots1375 full4392 of wine,3196 and cups,3563 and I said559 unto413 them, Drink8354 ye wine.3196

6 But they said,559 We will drink8354 no3808 wine:3196 for3588 Jonadab3122 the son1121 of Rechab7394 our father1 commanded6680 5921 us, saying,559 Ye shall drink8354 no3808 wine,3196 neither ye,859 nor your sons1121 forever:5704 5769

7 Neither3808 shall ye build1129 house,1004 nor3808 sow2232 seed,2233 nor3808 plant5193 vineyard,3754 nor3808 have1961 any: but3588 all3605 your days3117 ye shall dwell3427 in tents;168 that4616 ye may live2421 many7227 days3117 in5921 6440 the land127 where834 8033 ye859 be strangers.1481

8 Thus have we obeyed8085 the voice6963 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab7394 our father1 in all3605 that834 he hath charged6680 us, to drink8354 no1115 wine3196 all3605 our days,3117 we,587 our wives,802 our sons,1121 nor our daughters;1323

9 Nor1115 to build1129 houses1004 for us to dwell3427 in: neither3808 have1961 we vineyard,3754 nor field,7704 nor seed: 2233

10 But we have dwelt3427 in tents,168 and have obeyed,8085 and done6213 according to all3605 that834 Jonadab3122 our father1 commanded6680 us.

11 But it came to pass,1961 when Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 came up5927 into413 the land,776 that we said,559 Come,935 and let us go935 to Jerusalem3389 for fear4480 6440 of the army2428 of the Chaldeans,3778 and for fear4480 6440 of the army2428 of the Syrians:758 so we dwell3427 at Jerusalem.3389

12 Then came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 unto413 Jeremiah,3414 saying,559

13 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Go1980 and tell559 the men376 of Judah3063 and the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem,3389 Will ye not3808 receive3947 instruction4148 to hearken8085 to413 my words?1697 saith5002 the LORD.3068

14 853 The words1697 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab,7394 that834 he commanded6680 853 his sons1121 not1115 to drink8354 wine,3196 are performed;6965 for unto5704 this2088 day3117 they drink8354 none,3808 but3588 obey8085 853 their father's1 commandment:4687 notwithstanding I595 have spoken1696 unto413 you, rising early7925 and speaking;1696 but ye hearkened8085 not3808 unto413 me.

15 I have sent7971 also unto413 you853 all3605 my servants5650 the prophets,5030 rising up early7925 and sending7971 them, saying,559 Return7725 ye now4994 every man376 from his evil7451 way,4480 1870 and amend3190 your doings,4611 and go1980 not408 after310 other312 gods430 to serve5647 them, and ye shall dwell3427 in413 the land127 which834 I have given5414 to you and to your fathers:1 but ye have not3808 inclined5186 853 your ear,241 nor3808 hearkened8085 unto413 me.

16 Because3588 the sons1121 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab7394 have performed6965 853 the commandment4687 of their father,1 which834 he commanded6680 them; but this2088 people5971 hath not3808 hearkened8085 unto413 me:

17 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Behold,2009 I will bring935 upon413 Judah3063 and upon413 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem3389 853 all3605 the evil7451 that834 I have pronounced1696 against5921 them: because3282 I have spoken1696 unto413 them, but they have not3808 heard;8085 and I have called7121 unto them, but they have not3808 answered.6030

18 And Jeremiah3414 said559 unto the house1004 of the Rechabites,7397 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Because3283 834 ye have obeyed8085 5921 the commandment4687 of Jonadab3082 your father,1 and kept8104 853 all3605 his precepts,4687 and done6213 according unto all3605 that834 he hath commanded6680 you:

19 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Jonadab3122 the son1121 of Rechab7394 shall not3808 want3772 a man376 to stand5975 before6440 me forever.3605 3117

2 — Пойди к членам рода рехавитов, пригласи их прийти в одну из боковых комнат дома Господня и предложи выпить вина.

3 Я пошел к Иазании, сыну Иеремии, внуку Хаваццинии, к его братьям и сыновьям — ко всему роду рехавитов.

4 Я привел их в дом Господень, в комнату сыновей Ханана, сына пророка Игдалии. Она была рядом с комнатой вождей, которая находилась над комнатой привратника Маасеи, сына Шаллума.

5 Я поставил перед членами рода рехавитов чаши, полные вина, и несколько кубков и сказал им: — Выпейте вина.

6 Но они ответили: — Мы не пьем вина, потому что наш предок Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел нам: «Ни вы, ни ваши потомки не должны никогда пить вина.

7 Еще вы не должны строить домов, сеять и возделывать виноградники; пусть ничего этого у вас не будет, потому что вы должны всегда жить в шатрах. Тогда вы долго проживете на той земле, где вы являетесь чужеземцами».

8 Мы послушны всему, что повелел нам Ионадав, сын Рехава. Ни мы, ни наши жены, ни наши сыновья и дочери никогда не пьем вина,

9 не строим домов, чтобы жить в них, и у нас нет ни виноградников, ни полей, ни посевов.

10 Мы живем в шатрах и исполняем все, что повелел нам Ионадав, сын Рехава.

11 Но когда Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона, пошел войной на эту страну, мы сказали: «Соберемся и уйдем в Иерусалим, чтобы спастись от войск халдеев и арамеев». Потому мы и поселились в Иерусалиме.

12 И сказал Господь Иеремии:

13 — Так говорит Господь Сил, Бог Израиля: Пойди и скажи людям Иудеи и жителям Иерусалима: «Неужели вы не научитесь слушаться Моих слов? — возвещает Господь. —

14 Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел своим сыновьям не пить вина, и его повеление было соблюдено. Они и сегодня не пьют вина, потому что послушны повелениям своего предка. А Я снова и снова говорил вам, и вы не слушались Меня.

15 Снова и снова Я посылал к вам всех Моих слуг пророков. Они говорили: „Обратитесь каждый от своего злого пути и оставьте свои злые деяния; не следуйте за чужими богами, чтобы служить им. Тогда вы будете жить на земле, которую Я дал вам и вашим отцам“. Но вы не обращали внимания и не слушали Меня.

16 Потомки Ионадава, сына Рехава, исполняют повеление, которое дал им их отец, а этот народ не слушается Меня.

17 Поэтому так говорит Господь, Бог Сил, Бог Израиля: Я нашлю на Иудею и на каждого, кто живет в Иерусалиме, все невзгоды, которые Я им предрек. Я говорил с ними, но они не слушали; Я звал их, но они не отвечали».

18 А роду рехавитов Иеремия сказал: — Так говорит Господь Сил, Бог Израиля: Вы послушны воле своего предка Ионадава, исполняете все его наставления и делаете все, что он повелел.

19 Поэтому так говорит Господь Сил, Бог Израиля: Ионадав, сын Рехава, не останется без потомка, который будет Мне служить.

6 Но они ответили: — Мы не пьем вина, потому что наш предок Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел нам: «Ни вы, ни ваши потомки не должны никогда пить вина.

8 Мы послушны всему, что повелел нам Ионадав, сын Рехава. Ни мы, ни наши жены, ни наши сыновья и дочери никогда не пьем вина,

9 не строим домов, чтобы жить в них, и у нас нет ни виноградников, ни полей, ни посевов.

10 Мы живем в шатрах и исполняем все, что повелел нам Ионадав, сын Рехава.

13 — Так говорит Господь Сил, Бог Израиля: Пойди и скажи людям Иудеи и жителям Иерусалима: «Неужели вы не научитесь слушаться Моих слов? — возвещает Господь. —

14 853 The words1697 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab,7394 that834 he commanded6680 853 his sons1121 not1115 to drink8354 wine,3196 are performed;6965 for unto5704 this2088 day3117 they drink8354 none,3808 but3588 obey8085 853 their father's1 commandment:4687 notwithstanding I595 have spoken1696 unto413 you, rising early7925 and speaking;1696 but ye hearkened8085 not3808 unto413 me.

14 Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел своим сыновьям не пить вина, и его повеление было соблюдено. Они и сегодня не пьют вина, потому что послушны повелениям своего предка. А Я снова и снова говорил вам, и вы не слушались Меня.

16 Потомки Ионадава, сына Рехава, исполняют повеление, которое дал им их отец, а этот народ не слушается Меня.

18 А роду рехавитов Иеремия сказал: — Так говорит Господь Сил, Бог Израиля: Вы послушны воле своего предка Ионадава, исполняете все его наставления и делаете все, что он повелел.

19 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Jonadab3122 the son1121 of Rechab7394 shall not3808 want3772 a man376 to stand5975 before6440 me forever.3605 3117

19 Поэтому так говорит Господь Сил, Бог Израиля: Ионадав, сын Рехава, не останется без потомка, который будет Мне служить.
