5 Они будут расспрашивать о дороге к Сиону, обратив к нему лица.Они придут и соединятся со Мной вечным соглашением, которое никогда не будет забыто.
6 Мой народ был как пропавшие овцы; пастухи сбили их с пути и позволили разбежаться по горам;они бродили по горам и холмам и забыли своё пристанище.
7 Каждый, кто ни находил, пожирал их; их враги говорили: «На нас нет вины,ведь они согрешили против Вечного, истинного пастбища их, против Вечного, надежды их предков».
8 Бегите из Вавилона, оставьте землю вавилонян и будьте, как козлы, что идут впереди отары.
9 Я подниму и пошлю на Вавилон орды великих народов из северных земель.Они выступят против него боевым строем и захватят его с севера.Стрелы их врагов как искусные воины, что без добычи не возвращаются.
10 Так земля вавилонян будет разграблена; все, кто придут её грабить, насытятся вдоволь, – возвещает Вечный. –
11 За то, что вы радовались и ликовали, расхитители Моего наследия,за то, что резвились, как телица на траве, и ржали, как жеребцы,
12 опозорена будет ваша мать, обесславлена будет родившая вас.Среди народов будет она меньшей: пустыней, иссохшей землёй, голой степью.
13 Из-за гнева Вечного она не заселится и придёт целиком в запустение.Все, проходящие мимо Вавилона, ужаснутся и поиздеваются над всеми его ранами.
14 Становитесь в строй вокруг Вавилона, все, натягивающие луки.Стреляйте в него! Не жалейте стрел, потому что он согрешил против Вечного.
15 Со всех сторон поднимите на него крик. Он сдаётся, его укрепления пали,его стены разрушены – таково возмездие Вечного!Отомстите Вавилону! Как он поступал с другими, так и вы поступите с ним.
16 Истребите в Вавилоне сеятеля и жнеца с серпом в пору жатвы.Из-за страха перед мечом притеснителя пусть каждый вернётся к своему народу, пусть каждый бежит в свою землю.
17 Исраил – рассеявшаяся отара, которую разогнали львы.Первым, кто пожирал его, был царь Ассирии,а этот последний, разгрызший его кости, – Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона.
18 Поэтому так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: – Я накажу царя Вавилона и его страну так же, как Я наказал царя Ассирии.
19 А Исраил Я верну на его пастбище, и он будет пастись на Кармиле и в Башане;он утолит свой голод на холмах Ефраима и Галаада.

21 Нападайте на землю Мератаим и на тех, кто живёт в Пекоде. .Убивайте, истребляйте их до последнего, – возвещает Вечный. – Исполните всё, что Я повелел вам.
22 Шум битвы слышен в стране, шум лютой гибели!
23 Как расколот и сокрушён молот вселенной!Народы в ужасе глядят на то, что стало с Вавилоном.
24 Я расставил тебе западню, Вавилон, и ты попался в неё прежде, чем заметил это.Ты был найден и схвачен за то, что был против Меня, Вечного.
25 Вечный отворил Своё хранилище и взял оружие Своего гнева,так как Владыка Вечный, Повелитель Сил, желает завершить Свои замыслы в земле вавилонян.
26 Идите же против Вавилона отовсюду. Открывайте его амбары;соберите в кучу всё, что найдёте, и уничтожьте полностью, не оставляйте ничего!
27 Убивайте его воинов; пусть шагают, как волы, на бойню!Горе им! Настал их день, пришло время расплаты!
28 – Слышите! Беженцы и уцелевшие из Вавилона идут рассказать на Сионе, как Вечный, наш Бог, отомстил за Свой храм.
29 – Призовите стрелков на Вавилон, всех, кто натягивает лук.Расположитесь все станом вокруг него, чтобы никто не спасся.Воздайте ему за его дела; поступите с ним так, как поступал он с вами.Ведь он бросил вызов Вечному, святому Богу Исраила.
30 За это его юноши падут на улицах, все его воины умолкнут в тот день, – возвещает Вечный. –
31 Я против тебя, гордец, – возвещает Владыка Вечный, Повелитель Сил, –так как пришёл твой день, время твоей кары настало.
32 Гордец споткнётся и упадёт, и никто его не поднимет.Я зажгу огонь в его городах, и он пожрёт всё, что вокруг него.
33 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил: – Народ Исраила угнетён, как и народ Иудеи.Все взявшие их в плен крепко держат их, отказываясь отпустить.
34 Но их Искупитель могуч; Его имя – Вечный, Повелитель Сил.Он обязательно вступится за Свой народ, чтобы дать покой их земле и тревогу – жителям Вавилона.
35 Меч поразит вавилонян, – возвещает Вечный, –жителей вавилонских, его вождей и мудрецов!
36 Меч поразит его лжепророков: они обезумеют.Меч поразит его воинов: они задрожат от страха.
37 Меч поразит его коней и колесницы, и всех иноземцев в его войсках: станут они трусливы, как женщины.Меч поразит его сокровища: они будут разграблены.
38 Засуха поразит его реки: они пересохнут.Ведь это – земля истуканов, где люди лишились рассудка от идолов-страшилищ.
39 Поэтому поселятся в Вавилоне звери пустыни и гиены, и будут в нём жить совы.Впредь не заселится он никогда и будет необитаем из поколения в поколение.
40 Как Всевышний низверг Содом и Гоморру с их окрестными городами, – возвещает Вечный, –так никто не будет жить и там, ни один человек не поселится.
41 Вот, движется войско с севера; великий народ и множество царей поднимаются с краёв земли.
42 Их оружие – лук и копьё; они свирепы и не знают пощады.Шум от них – как рёв моря, когда они скачут на конях.В боевом строю идут воины против тебя, дочь Вавилона. .
43 Царь Вавилона услышал весть о них, и руки его опустились.Пронзила его боль, охватили муки, как женщину в родах.
44 – Словно лев, который выходит из иорданской чащи на роскошные пастбища,Я во мгновение ока изгоню Вавилон из его земель и поставлю над ним того, кого изберу.Кто подобен Мне? Кто спросит с Меня? Какой правитель может противостоять Мне?
45 Выслушайте же замысел Вечного о Вавилоне и Его намерения о земле вавилонян:молодняк отар будет угнан прочь, и пастбища их Он погубит.

17 Исраил – рассеявшаяся отара, которую разогнали львы.Первым, кто пожирал его, был царь Ассирии,а этот последний, разгрызший его кости, – Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона.

18 Поэтому так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: – Я накажу царя Вавилона и его страну так же, как Я наказал царя Ассирии.
19 And I will bring7725853 Israel3478 again to413 his habitation,5116 and he shall feed7462 on Carmel3760 and Bashan,1316 and his soul5315 shall be satisfied7646 upon mount2022 Ephraim669 and Gilead.1568
19 А Исраил Я верну на его пастбище, и он будет пастись на Кармиле и в Башане;он утолит свой голод на холмах Ефраима и Галаада.
20 In those1992 days,3117 and in that1931 time,6256 saith5002 the LORD,3068853 the iniquity5771 of Israel3478 shall be sought for,1245 and there shall be none;369 and the sins2403 of Judah,3063 and they shall not3808 be found:4672 for3588 I will pardon5545 them whom834 I reserve.7604
20 В те дни, в то время, – возвещает Вечный, –будут искать за Исраилом вину, но её не окажется,будут искать за Иудеей грехи, но ничего не найдут,потому что Я прощу тех, кого оставлю в живых.
21 Go up5927 against5921 the land776 of Merathaim,4850even against5921 it, and against413 the inhabitants3427 of Pekod:6489 waste2717 and utterly destroy2763 after310 them, saith5002 the LORD,3068 and do6213 according to all3605 that834 I have commanded6680 thee.
21 Нападайте на землю Мератаим и на тех, кто живёт в Пекоде. .Убивайте, истребляйте их до последнего, – возвещает Вечный. – Исполните всё, что Я повелел вам.

23 Как расколот и сокрушён молот вселенной!Народы в ужасе глядят на то, что стало с Вавилоном.
24 I have laid a snare3369 for thee, and thou art also1571 taken,3920 O Babylon,894 and thou859 wast not3808 aware:3045 thou art found,4672 and also1571 caught,8610 because3588 thou hast striven1624 against the LORD.3068
24 Я расставил тебе западню, Вавилон, и ты попался в неё прежде, чем заметил это.Ты был найден и схвачен за то, что был против Меня, Вечного.
25 The LORD3068 hath opened6605853 his armory,214 and hath brought forth3318853 the weapons3627 of his indignation:2195 for3588 this1931is the work4399 of the Lord136 GOD3069 of hosts6635 in the land776 of the Chaldeans.3778
25 Вечный отворил Своё хранилище и взял оружие Своего гнева,так как Владыка Вечный, Повелитель Сил, желает завершить Свои замыслы в земле вавилонян.
26 Come935 against her from the utmost border,44807093 open6605 her storehouses:3965 cast her up5549 as heaps,6194 and destroy2763 her utterly: let nothing408 of her be1961 left.7611
26 Идите же против Вавилона отовсюду. Открывайте его амбары;соберите в кучу всё, что найдёте, и уничтожьте полностью, не оставляйте ничего!
27 Slay2717 all3605 her bullocks;6499 let them go down3381 to the slaughter:2874 woe1945 unto5921 them! for3588 their day3117 is come,935 the time6256 of their visitation.6486
27 Убивайте его воинов; пусть шагают, как волы, на бойню!Горе им! Настал их день, пришло время расплаты!

28 – Слышите! Беженцы и уцелевшие из Вавилона идут рассказать на Сионе, как Вечный, наш Бог, отомстил за Свой храм.

29 – Призовите стрелков на Вавилон, всех, кто натягивает лук.Расположитесь все станом вокруг него, чтобы никто не спасся.Воздайте ему за его дела; поступите с ним так, как поступал он с вами.Ведь он бросил вызов Вечному, святому Богу Исраила.

30 За это его юноши падут на улицах, все его воины умолкнут в тот день, – возвещает Вечный. –
31 Behold,2009 I am against413 thee, O thou most proud,2087 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069 of hosts:6635 for3588 thy day3117 is come,935 the time6256that I will visit6485 thee.
31 Я против тебя, гордец, – возвещает Владыка Вечный, Повелитель Сил, –так как пришёл твой день, время твоей кары настало.
32 And the most proud2087 shall stumble3782 and fall,5307 and none369 shall raise him up:6965 and I will kindle3341 a fire784 in his cities,5892 and it shall devour398 all3605 round about5439 him.
32 Гордец споткнётся и упадёт, и никто его не поднимет.Я зажгу огонь в его городах, и он пожрёт всё, что вокруг него.
33 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 The children1121 of Israel3478 and the children1121 of Judah3063were oppressed6231 together:3162 and all3605 that took them captives7617 held them fast;2388 they refused3985 to let them go.7971
33 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил: – Народ Исраила угнетён, как и народ Иудеи.Все взявшие их в плен крепко держат их, отказываясь отпустить.
34 Their Redeemer1350is strong;2389 the LORD3068 of hosts6635is his name:8034 he shall throughly plead73787378853 their cause,7379 that4616 he may give rest7280853 to the land,776 and disquiet7264 the inhabitants3427 of Babylon.894
34 Но их Искупитель могуч; Его имя – Вечный, Повелитель Сил.Он обязательно вступится за Свой народ, чтобы дать покой их земле и тревогу – жителям Вавилона.
35 A sword2719is upon5921 the Chaldeans,3778 saith5002 the LORD,3068 and upon413 the inhabitants3427 of Babylon,894 and upon413 her princes,8269 and upon413 her wise2450men.
35 Меч поразит вавилонян, – возвещает Вечный, –жителей вавилонских, его вождей и мудрецов!
36 A sword2719is upon413 the liars;907 and they shall dote:2973 a sword2719is upon413 her mighty men;1368 and they shall be dismayed.2865
36 Меч поразит его лжепророков: они обезумеют.Меч поразит его воинов: они задрожат от страха.
37 A sword2719is upon413 their horses,5483 and upon413 their chariots,7393 and upon413 all3605 the mingled people6154 that834are in the midst8432 of her; and they shall become1961 as women:802 a sword2719is upon413 her treasures;214 and they shall be robbed.962
37 Меч поразит его коней и колесницы, и всех иноземцев в его войсках: станут они трусливы, как женщины.Меч поразит его сокровища: они будут разграблены.

38 Засуха поразит его реки: они пересохнут.Ведь это – земля истуканов, где люди лишились рассудка от идолов-страшилищ.
39 Therefore3651 the wild beasts of the desert6728 with854 the wild beasts of the islands338 shall dwell3427there, and the owls13233284 shall dwell3427 therein: and it shall be no3808 more5750 inhabited3427 forever;5331 neither3808 shall it be dwelt in7931 from5704 generation1755 to generation.1755
39 Поэтому поселятся в Вавилоне звери пустыни и гиены, и будут в нём жить совы.Впредь не заселится он никогда и будет необитаем из поколения в поколение.
40 As God430 overthrew4114853 Sodom5467 and Gomorrah6017 and the neighbor7934cities thereof, saith5002 the LORD;3068so shall no3808 man376 abide3427 there,8033 neither3808 shall any son1121 of man120 dwell1481 therein.
40 Как Всевышний низверг Содом и Гоморру с их окрестными городами, – возвещает Вечный, –так никто не будет жить и там, ни один человек не поселится.
41 Behold,2009 a people5971 shall come935 from the north,44806828 and a great1419 nation,1471 and many7227 kings4428 shall be raised up5782 from the coasts44803411 of the earth.776
41 Вот, движется войско с севера; великий народ и множество царей поднимаются с краёв земли.
42 They shall hold2388 the bow7198 and the lance:3591 they1992are cruel,394 and will not3808 show mercy:7355 their voice6963 shall roar1993 like the sea,3220 and they shall ride7392 upon5921 horses,5483every one put in array,6186 like a man376 to the battle,4421 against5921 thee, O daughter1323 of Babylon.894
42 Их оружие – лук и копьё; они свирепы и не знают пощады.Шум от них – как рёв моря, когда они скачут на конях.В боевом строю идут воины против тебя, дочь Вавилона. .
43 The king4428 of Babylon894 hath heard8085853 the report8088 of them, and his hands3027 waxed feeble:7503 anguish6869 took hold2388 of him, and pangs2427 as of a woman in travail.3205
43 Царь Вавилона услышал весть о них, и руки его опустились.Пронзила его боль, охватили муки, как женщину в родах.
44 Behold,2009 he shall come up5927 like a lion738 from the swelling44801347 of Jordan3383 unto413 the habitation5116 of the strong:386 but3588 I will make them suddenly7280 run away7323 from44805921 her: and who4310is a chosen977man, that I may appoint6485 over413 her? for3588 who4310is like me?3644 and who4310 will appoint me the time?3259 and who4310is that2088 shepherd7462 that834 will stand5975 before6440 me?
44 – Словно лев, который выходит из иорданской чащи на роскошные пастбища,Я во мгновение ока изгоню Вавилон из его земель и поставлю над ним того, кого изберу.Кто подобен Мне? Кто спросит с Меня? Какой правитель может противостоять Мне?
45 Therefore3651 hear8085 ye the counsel6098 of the LORD,3068 that834 he hath taken3289 against413 Babylon;894 and his purposes,4284 that834 he hath purposed2803 against413 the land776 of the Chaldeans:3778 Surely5183808 the least6810 of the flock6629 shall draw them out:5498 surely5183808 he shall make their habitation5116 desolate8074 with5921 them.
45 Выслушайте же замысел Вечного о Вавилоне и Его намерения о земле вавилонян:молодняк отар будет угнан прочь, и пастбища их Он погубит.
46 At the noise44806963 of the taking8610 of Babylon894 the earth776 is moved,7493 and the cry2201 is heard8085 among the nations.1471
46 От шума взятия Вавилона вздрогнет земля; его крик будет слышен среди народов.
