2 Be not408 rash926 with5921 thy mouth,6310 and let not408 thine heart3820 be hasty4116 to utter3318 any thing1697 before6440 God:430 for3588 God430 is in heaven,8064 and thou859 upon5921 earth:776 therefore5921 3651 let thy words1697 be1961 few.4592

3 For3588 a dream2472 cometh935 through the multitude7230 of business;6045 and a fool's3684 voice6963 is known by multitude7230 of words.1697

4 When834 thou vowest5087 a vow5088 unto God,430 defer309 not408 to pay7999 it; for3588 he hath no369 pleasure2656 in fools:3684 pay7999 853 that which834 thou hast vowed.5087

5 Better2896 is it that834 thou shouldest not3808 vow,5087 than that thou shouldest vow4480 7945 5087 and not3808 pay.7999

6 Suffer5414 not408 853 thy mouth6310 to cause853 thy flesh1320 to sin;2398 neither408 say559 thou before6440 the angel,4397 that3588 it1931 was an error:7684 wherefore4100 should God430 be angry7107 at5921 thy voice,6963 and destroy2254 853 the work4639 of thine hands?3027

7 For3588 in the multitude7230 of dreams2472 and many7235 words1697 there are also divers vanities:1892 but3588 fear3372 thou853 God.430

8 If518 thou seest7200 the oppression6233 of the poor,7326 and violent perverting1499 of judgment4941 and justice6664 in a province,4082 marvel8539 not408 at5921 the matter:2656 for3588 he that is higher1364 than4480 5921 the highest1364 regardeth;8104 and there be higher1364 than5921 they.

9 Moreover the profit3504 of the earth776 is for all:3605 the king4428 himself is served5647 by the field.7704

10 He that loveth157 silver3701 shall not3808 be satisfied7646 with silver;3701 nor he4310 that loveth157 abundance1995 with increase:8393 this2088 is also1571 vanity.1892

11 When goods2896 increase,7235 they are increased7231 that eat398 them: and what4100 good3788 is there to the owners1167 thereof, saving3588 518 the beholding7200 of them with their eyes?5869

12 The sleep8142 of a laboring man5647 is sweet,4966 whether518 he eat398 little4592 or518 much:7235 but the abundance7647 of the rich6223 will not369 suffer5117 him to sleep.3462

13 There is3426 a sore2470 evil7451 which I have seen7200 under8478 the sun,8121 namely, riches6239 kept8104 for the owners1167 thereof to their hurt.7451

14 But those1931 riches6239 perish6 by evil7451 travail:6045 and he begetteth3205 a son,1121 and there is nothing369 3972 in his hand.3027

15 As834 he came forth3318 of his mother's517 womb,4480 990 naked6174 shall he return7725 to go1980 as he came,7945 935 and shall take5375 nothing3808 3972 of his labor,5999 which he may carry way7945 1980 in his hand.3027

16 And this2090 also1571 is a sore2470 evil,7451 that in all3605 points5980 as he came,7945 935 so3651 shall he go:1980 and what4100 profit3504 hath he that hath labored7945 5998 for the wind?7307

17 All3605 his days3117 also1571 he eateth398 in darkness,2822 and he hath much7235 sorrow3707 and wrath7110 with his sickness.2483

18 Behold2009 that which834 I589 have seen:7200 it is good2896 and comely3303 for one to eat398 and to drink,8354 and to enjoy7200 the good2896 of all3605 his labor5999 that he taketh7945 5998 under8478 the sun8121 all4557 the days3117 of his life,2416 which834 God430 giveth5414 him: for3588 it1931 is his portion.2506

19 Every3605 man120 also1571 to whom834 God430 hath given5414 riches6239 and wealth,5233 and hath given him power7980 to eat398 thereof,4480 and to take5375 853 his portion,2506 and to rejoice8055 in his labor;5999 this2090 is the gift4991 of God.430

20 For3588 he shall not3808 much7235 remember2142 853 the days3117 of his life;2416 because3588 God430 answereth6030 him in the joy8057 of his heart.3820

Глава 5

1 Подумай, прежде чем что-то сказать, не торопись произнести слово перед Всевышним.Всевышний на небе, а ты на земле, так будь же немногословен.

2 И как снятся беспокойные сны при множестве забот, так и речь глупца рождается при множестве слов.

3 Когда даёшь обет Всевышнему, не замедли исполнить его. Ему не угодны глупцы; исполни то, что обещал.

4 Лучше не давать обещания, чем дать и не исполнить.

5 Не позволяй устам своим ввести тебя в грех. И не говори посланнику: . «Моё обещание было ошибкой». Зачем тебе, чтобы Всевышний прогневался на слова твои и уничтожил дело рук твоих?

6 Пустота во множестве сноведений, как и в многословии, поэтому бойся Всевышнего!

7 Если ты увидишь, что в какой-то местности притесняют бедного и не соблюдается правосудие и справедливость, то не удивляйся этому, потому что над одним правителем стоит другой, который наблюдает за ним, а над ними есть ещё более высокое начальство.

8 Но всё же лучше для страны, чтобы у неё был царь, заботящийся о земле.

9 Кто любит деньги, тому их никогда не хватает,и кто любит богатство, никогда не будет доволен своим доходом. И это тоже пустое.

10 Когда увеличивается имущество, увеличивается и число нахлебников.В чём польза его владельцу, кроме как смотреть на него?

11 Сон работника сладок, много ли он съел или мало.Но объевшийся богач всё ворочается в своей кровати.

12 И видел я ужасное зло под солнцем:
человек зря копил богатство –

13 оно было потеряно из-за неудачной сделки, а теперь ему нечего оставить своему сыну.

14 Нагим человек выходит из утробы матери, и каким он пришёл, таким и уходит.Он ничего не возьмёт от труда своего, не унесёт с собой и горсти.

15 И это тоже ужасное зло:
каким человек пришёл, таким и уходит, и какая польза ему, что он трудится на ветер?

16 Все дни его жизни проходят во тьме, в большом разочаровании, огорчении и гневе.

17 Затем я понял, что хорошо и правильно для человека есть и пить и находить наслаждение в труде своём под солнцем в течение немногих дней жизни, что дал ему Всевышний, ведь такова его доля.

18 Более того, если Всевышний даёт кому-либо богатство, имущество и возможность пользоваться ими, получить свою долю и наслаждаться своим трудом, то это дар Всевышнего.

19 Редко такой человек размышляет о своей жизни, потому что Всевышний наполняет радостью сердце его.

15 И это тоже ужасное зло:
каким человек пришёл, таким и уходит, и какая польза ему, что он трудится на ветер?

16 And this2090 also1571 is a sore2470 evil,7451 that in all3605 points5980 as he came,7945 935 so3651 shall he go:1980 and what4100 profit3504 hath he that hath labored7945 5998 for the wind?7307

16 Все дни его жизни проходят во тьме, в большом разочаровании, огорчении и гневе.

17 All3605 his days3117 also1571 he eateth398 in darkness,2822 and he hath much7235 sorrow3707 and wrath7110 with his sickness.2483

17 Затем я понял, что хорошо и правильно для человека есть и пить и находить наслаждение в труде своём под солнцем в течение немногих дней жизни, что дал ему Всевышний, ведь такова его доля.

18 Более того, если Всевышний даёт кому-либо богатство, имущество и возможность пользоваться ими, получить свою долю и наслаждаться своим трудом, то это дар Всевышнего.

19 Every3605 man120 also1571 to whom834 God430 hath given5414 riches6239 and wealth,5233 and hath given him power7980 to eat398 thereof,4480 and to take5375 853 his portion,2506 and to rejoice8055 in his labor;5999 this2090 is the gift4991 of God.430

19 Редко такой человек размышляет о своей жизни, потому что Всевышний наполняет радостью сердце его.
