Psalm 71

1 In thee, O LORD,3068 do I put my trust:2620 let me never408 5769 be put to confusion.954

2 Deliver5337 me in thy righteousness,6666 and cause me to escape:6403 incline5186 thine ear241 unto413 me, and save3467 me.

3 Be1961 thou my strong6697 habitation,4583 whereunto I may continually8548 resort:935 thou hast given commandment6680 to save3467 me; for3588 thou859 art my rock5553 and my fortress.4686

4 Deliver6403 me, O my God,430 out of the hand4480 3027 of the wicked,7563 out of the hand4480 3709 of the unrighteous5765 and cruel2556 man.

1 Псалом Соломона Боже, ниспошли царю Твою справедливость и сыну царскому — праведность Твою.

2 Да судит он народ Твой праведно и бедных Твоих — справедливо.

3 И праведность да принесет народу мир и благополучие даже с холмов и гор.

4 Всех обездоленных в народе Твоем пусть судит царь справедливо, помогает находящимся в нужде и попирает притеснителя.

5 А народ да благоговеет пред Тобою, Боже, из рода в род, пока луна и солнце светят.

6 Да будет царь как дождь, сходящий на скошенный луг, как ливень, что земле влагу дает.

7 Во дни его праведность да процветает и мир остается прочным, как неизменный свет луны.

8 Пусть простирается владычество его от моря и до моря, от реки Евфрат до краев земли.

9 Кочевники пустыни пусть пред ним преклонятся и враги его лижут прах перед ним.

10 Цари Таршиша и островов пусть дары ему несут, дань — цари Шевы и Севы.

11 Все цари пусть ниц падут перед ним, все народы ему служат.

12 Ибо вступаться он будет за бедных, просящих о помощи, за угнетенных и беззащитных,

13 будет милосерд к слабому и обездоленному, не уклонится от того, чтобы спасать находящихся в нужде.

14 От притеснения и насилия он избавлять их будет, ибо они дороги в глазах его.

15 Так пусть же здравствует царь и пусть приносят ему золото из Шевы! Пусть постоянно молятся о нем и призывают благословенья на него весь день.

16 Пусть в изобилии на земле хлеба растут и стеной стоят на вершинах гор с плодом столь же обильным, как на горе Ливан. И народ в городах пусть благоденствует и многочислен будет, как трава на полях.

17 Имя царя да сохранится навеки и слава о нем — доколе солнце светит! Благословение через него да придет на все народы, и назовут они его счастливым! * * *

18 Слава ГОСПОДУ Богу, Богу Израиля, единому, творящему чудеса!

19 И слава дивному имени Его вовек! Славою Его вся земля да наполнится! Аминь, да! Аминь!
