1 The word1697 that834 came1961 to413 Jeremiah3414 concerning413 all3605 the Jews3064 which dwell3427 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 which dwell3427 at Migdol,4024 and at Tahpanhes,8471 and at Noph,5297 and in the country776 of Pathros,6624 saying,559

2 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Ye859 have seen7200 853 all3605 the evil7451 that834 I have brought935 upon5921 Jerusalem,3389 and upon5921 all3605 the cities5892 of Judah;3063 and, behold,2009 this2088 day3117 they are a desolation,2723 and no369 man dwelleth3427 therein,

3 Because4480 6440 of their wickedness7451 which834 they have committed6213 to provoke me to anger,3707 in that they went1980 to burn incense,6999 and to serve5647 other312 gods,430 whom834 they knew3045 not,3808 neither they,1992 ye,859 nor your fathers.1

4 Howbeit I sent7971 unto413 you853 all3605 my servants5650 the prophets,5030 rising early7925 and sending7971 them, saying,559 Oh,4994 do6213 not408 853 this2063 abominable8441 thing1697 that834 I hate.8130

5 But they hearkened8085 not,3808 nor3808 inclined5186 853 their ear241 to turn7725 from their wickedness,4480 7451 to burn6999 no1115 incense unto other312 gods.430

6 Wherefore my fury2534 and mine anger639 was poured forth,5413 and was kindled1197 in the cities5892 of Judah3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem;3389 and they are1961 wasted2723 and desolate,8077 as at this2088 day.3117

7 Therefore now6258 thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 the God430 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Wherefore4100 commit6213 ye859 this great1419 evil7451 against413 your souls,5315 to cut off3772 from you man376 and woman,802 child5768 and suckling,3243 out of4480 8432 Judah,3063 to leave3498 you none1115 to remain;7611

8 In that ye provoke me unto wrath3707 with the works4639 of your hands,3027 burning incense6999 unto other312 gods430 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 whither834 8033 ye859 be gone935 to dwell,1481 that4616 ye might cut yourselves off,3772 and that4616 ye might be1961 a curse7045 and a reproach2781 among all3605 the nations1471 of the earth?776

9 Have ye forgotten7911 853 the wickedness7451 of your fathers,1 and the wickedness7451 of the kings4428 of Judah,3063 and the wickedness7451 of their wives,802 and your own wickedness,7451 and the wickedness7451 of your wives,802 which834 they have committed6213 in the land776 of Judah,3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem?3389

10 They are not3808 humbled1792 even unto5704 this2088 day,3117 neither3808 have they feared,3372 nor3808 walked1980 in my law,8451 nor in my statutes,2708 that834 I set5414 before6440 you and before6440 your fathers.1

11 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Behold,2009 I will set7760 my face6440 against you for evil,7451 and to cut off3772 853 all3605 Judah.3063

12 And I will take3947 853 the remnant7611 of Judah,3063 that834 have set7760 their faces6440 to go into935 the land776 of Egypt4714 to sojourn1481 there,8033 and they shall all3605 be consumed,8552 and fall5307 in the land776 of Egypt;4714 they shall even be consumed8552 by the sword2719 and by the famine:7458 they shall die,4191 from the least4480 6996 even unto5704 the greatest,1419 by the sword2719 and by the famine:7458 and they shall be1961 an execration,423 and an astonishment,8047 and a curse,7045 and a reproach.2781

13 For I will punish6485 5921 them that dwell3427 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 as834 I have punished6485 5921 Jerusalem,3389 by the sword,2719 by the famine,7458 and by the pestilence: 1698

14 So that none3808 of the remnant7611 of Judah,3063 which are gone935 into the land776 of Egypt4714 to sojourn1481 there,8033 shall1961 escape6412 or remain,8300 that they should return7725 into the land776 of Judah,3063 to the which834 they1992 have a desire5375 853 5315 to return7725 to dwell3427 there:8033 for3588 none3808 shall return7725 but3588 518 such as shall escape.6412

15 Then all3605 the men376 which knew3045 that3588 their wives802 had burned incense6999 unto other312 gods,430 and all3605 the women802 that stood by,5975 a great1419 multitude,6951 even all3605 the people5971 that dwelt3427 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 in Pathros,6624 answered6030 853 Jeremiah,3414 saying,559

16 As for the word1697 that834 thou hast spoken1696 unto413 us in the name8034 of the LORD,3068 we will not369 hearken8085 unto413 thee.

17 But3588 we will certainly do6213 6213 853 whatsoever3605 834 thing1697 goeth forth3318 out of our own mouth,4480 6310 to burn incense6999 unto the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and to pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her, as834 we have done,6213 we,587 and our fathers,1 our kings,4428 and our princes,8269 in the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem:3389 for then had we plenty7646 of victuals,3899 and were1961 well,2896 and saw7200 no3808 evil.7451

18 But since4480 227 we left off2308 to burn incense6999 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and to pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her, we have wanted2637 all3605 things, and have been consumed8552 by the sword2719 and by the famine.7458

19 And when3588 we587 burned incense6999 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and poured out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her, did we make6213 her cakes3561 to worship6087 her, and pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her, without4480 1107 our men?376

20 Then Jeremiah3414 said559 unto413 all3605 the people,5971 to5921 the men,1397 and to5921 the women,802 and to5921 all3605 the people5971 which had given him that answer,6030 853 1697 saying,559

21 853 The incense7002 that834 ye burned6999 in the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem,3389 ye,859 and your fathers,1 your kings,4428 and your princes,8269 and the people5971 of the land,776 did not3808 the LORD3068 remember2142 them, and came5927 it not into5921 his mind?3820

22 So that the LORD3068 could3201 no3808 longer5750 bear,5375 because4480 6440 of the evil7455 of your doings,4611 and because4480 6440 of the abominations8441 which834 ye have committed;6213 therefore is1961 your land776 a desolation,2723 and an astonishment,8047 and a curse,7045 without4480 369 an inhabitant,3427 as at this2088 day.3117

23 Because4480 6440 834 ye have burned incense,6999 and because834 ye have sinned2398 against the LORD,3068 and have not3808 obeyed8085 the voice6963 of the LORD,3068 nor3808 walked1980 in his law,8451 nor in his statutes,2708 nor in his testimonies;5715 therefore5921 3651 this2063 evil7451 is happened unto7122 you, as at this2088 day.3117

24 Moreover Jeremiah3414 said559 unto413 all3605 the people,5971 and to413 all3605 the women,802 Hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD,3068 all3605 Judah3063 that834 are in the land776 of Egypt: 4714

25 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel,3478 saying;559 Ye859 and your wives802 have both spoken1696 with your mouths,6310 and fulfilled4390 with your hand,3027 saying,559 We will surely perform6213 6213 853 our vows5088 that834 we have vowed,5087 to burn incense6999 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and to pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her: ye will surely accomplish6965 6965 853 your vows,5088 and surely perform6213 6213 853 your vows.5088

26 Therefore3651 hear8085 ye the word1697 of the LORD,3068 all3605 Judah3063 that dwell3427 in the land776 of Egypt;4714 Behold,2009 I have sworn7650 by my great1419 name,8034 saith559 the LORD,3068 that my name8034 shall no518 more5750 be1961 named7121 in the mouth6310 of any3605 man376 of Judah3063 in all3605 the land776 of Egypt,4714 saying,559 The Lord136 GOD3069 liveth.2416

27 Behold,2009 I will watch8245 over5921 them for evil,7451 and not3808 for good:2896 and all3605 the men376 of Judah3063 that834 are in the land776 of Egypt4714 shall be consumed8552 by the sword2719 and by the famine,7458 until5704 there be an end3615 of them.

28 Yet a small4962 number4557 that escape6412 the sword2719 shall return7725 out of4480 the land776 of Egypt4714 into the land776 of Judah,3063 and all3605 the remnant7611 of Judah,3063 that are gone935 into the land776 of Egypt4714 to sojourn1481 there,8033 shall know3045 whose4310 words1697 shall stand,6965 mine,4480 or theirs.4480

29 And this2063 shall be a sign226 unto you, saith5002 the LORD,3068 that3588 I589 will punish6485 5921 you in this2088 place,4725 that4616 ye may know3045 that3588 my words1697 shall surely stand6965 6965 against5921 you for evil: 7451

30 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 Behold,2009 I will give5414 853 Pharaoh Hophra6548 king4428 of Egypt4714 into the hand3027 of his enemies,341 and into the hand3027 of them that seek1245 his life;5315 as834 I gave5414 853 Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah3063 into the hand3027 of Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon,894 his enemy,341 and that sought1245 his life.5315

4 Я неизменно, изо дня в день, посылал к вам слуг Моих, пророков, с увещеваниями: „Перестаньте творить эти мерзости, которые Я ненавижу“.

5 Они же не слушались и не внимали, не отказались от злодеяний своих и не перестали воскурять благовония чужим богам.

6 Излилась тогда ярость Моя и воспылал гнев Мой в городах иудейских и на улицах Иерусалима, превратились они в руины и пустыню, как это и есть ныне“.

7 „Зачем вы, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, Бог Воинств, Бог Израиля, — причиняете себе такое великое бедствие? Зачем обрекаете на истребление мужчин и женщин, пришедших из Иудеи, и их детей и младенцев, — не бережете и малого остатка?

8 Зачем вызываете вы гнев Мой делами своими, воскуряя благовония чужим богам в Египте, куда вы бежали и где поселились? Истребят вас и там — и все народы земли будут проклинать вас и глумиться над вами.

9 Неужели вы забыли злодеяния отцов ваших, злодеяния царей иудейских и жен их, злодеяния ваши и жен ваших, что творились в земле иудейской и на улицах Иерусалима?

10 И по сей день вы не смирились, не устрашились и не стали следовать Закону Моему и установлениям Моим, которые Я дал вам и отцам вашим“.

11 Потому так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, Бог Израиля: „Суд Свой свершу над вами на беду вам, чтобы истребить всех иудеев.

12 Я погублю оставшихся иудеев, которые решили бежать в Египет и поселиться там; все они погибнут, падут от меча и от голода в Египте, от мала и до велика умрут от меча и от голода. Будут они наводить ужас на всех, проклинать их будут, глумиться над ними и насмехаться.

13 И взыщу Я с живущих в Египте, как взыскал Я с Иерусалима, послав на них меч, голод и моровое поветрие.

14 Никто не спасется, не выживет из всех оставшихся иудеев, пришедших на поселение в Египет, некому будет вернуться в землю иудейскую; и хотя они мечтают вернуться и жить там, но не вернутся, кроме немногих спасшихся“».

15 Тогда все мужчины, которые знали, что их жены воскуряют благовония чужим богам, и все женщины, толпой стоявшие там, и весь народ, живший в Патросе, в земле египетской, сказали Иеремии:

16 «Мы не послушаем слова, что ты возвестил нам во имя ГОСПОДА,

17 но будем поступать по данному нами обету: будем воскурять благовония Владычице небесной и делать возлияния для нее, как это делали раньше мы и отцы наши, цари наши и вельможи в городах иудейских и на улицах Иерусалима, когда мы вдоволь ели хлеб, и всё у нас было хорошо, и беды мы не знали.

18 Но с того дня, как перестали мы воскурять благовония Владычице небесной и делать возлияния для нее, мы начали испытывать нужду во всем и погибать от меча и от голода».

19 А женщины сказали: «Да и когда мы воскуряли благовония для Владычицы небесной и делали возлияния для нее, разве совершали мы это без ведома наших мужей, приготовляя священный хлеб с изображением богини и делая возлияния для нее?»

20 И сказал Иеремия в ответ всему народу: мужчинам и женщинам — всем собравшимся там, которые пререкались с ним:

21 «Разве не те благовония, что вы воскуряли в городах иудейских и на улицах Иерусалима, вы и отцы ваши, цари ваши и вельможи и весь народ этой земли, — разве не их вспомнил ГОСПОДЬ, разве не о них Он подумал?

22 Не мог ГОСПОДЬ больше терпеть злодеяний ваших, мерзостей, что вы творили, потому и стала земля ваша пустыней, наводящей ужас; землей безлюдной, над которой глумятся, — так это и ныне.

23 Всё это потому, что воскуряли вы благовония и грешили против ГОСПОДА, не слушались Его и не поступали по Закону Его, повелениям и установлениям Его, оттого и постигло вас это бедствие — как это и есть ныне».

24 Продолжил Иеремия говорить всему народу и всем женщинам: «Слушайте слово ГОСПОДНЕ вы, иудеи, живущие в Египте:

25 „Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, Бог Израиля: „И вы, и жены ваши сами дали обеты и сами их исполняли, полагая: „Мы непременно должны исполнить обеты наши — воскурять благовония Владычице небесной и делать ей возлияния“. Так соблюдайте же обеты свои, не забудьте их выполнить!“

26 Слушайте слово ГОСПОДНЕ вы, иудеи, живущие в Египте: „Я поклялся именем Своим великим, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — что отныне ни один человек из иудеев во всем Египте не будет более призывать имени Моего, говоря: „Воистину жив Владыка ГОСПОДЬ“.

27 Теперь Я слежу за ними на беду им, а не во благо, и будут гибнуть иудеи в Египте от меча и от голода, пока не будут полностью уничтожены.

28 А те немногие, что спасутся от меча, вернутся из Египта в Иудею, и будет знать остаток Иудеи, ходивший в землю египетскую, чтобы там пожить какое-то время, чье слово сбылось — Мое или их.

29 Вот вам знамение того, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — что Я взыщу с вас в этом месте, чтобы вы знали, что Мои слова предостережения о грядущем бедствии исполнятся“.

30 Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Я предаю фараона Хофру, царя египетского, в руки врагов его, желающих его смерти, так же как Я предал Седекию, царя иудейского, в руки врага его Навуходоносора, царя вавилонского, желавшего его смерти“».

17 но будем поступать по данному нами обету: будем воскурять благовония Владычице небесной и делать возлияния для нее, как это делали раньше мы и отцы наши, цари наши и вельможи в городах иудейских и на улицах Иерусалима, когда мы вдоволь ели хлеб, и всё у нас было хорошо, и беды мы не знали.

18 But since4480 227 we left off2308 to burn incense6999 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and to pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her, we have wanted2637 all3605 things, and have been consumed8552 by the sword2719 and by the famine.7458

18 Но с того дня, как перестали мы воскурять благовония Владычице небесной и делать возлияния для нее, мы начали испытывать нужду во всем и погибать от меча и от голода».

19 And when3588 we587 burned incense6999 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and poured out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her, did we make6213 her cakes3561 to worship6087 her, and pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her, without4480 1107 our men?376

19 А женщины сказали: «Да и когда мы воскуряли благовония для Владычицы небесной и делали возлияния для нее, разве совершали мы это без ведома наших мужей, приготовляя священный хлеб с изображением богини и делая возлияния для нее?»

20 Then Jeremiah3414 said559 unto413 all3605 the people,5971 to5921 the men,1397 and to5921 the women,802 and to5921 all3605 the people5971 which had given him that answer,6030 853 1697 saying,559

20 И сказал Иеремия в ответ всему народу: мужчинам и женщинам — всем собравшимся там, которые пререкались с ним:

21 853 The incense7002 that834 ye burned6999 in the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem,3389 ye,859 and your fathers,1 your kings,4428 and your princes,8269 and the people5971 of the land,776 did not3808 the LORD3068 remember2142 them, and came5927 it not into5921 his mind?3820

21 «Разве не те благовония, что вы воскуряли в городах иудейских и на улицах Иерусалима, вы и отцы ваши, цари ваши и вельможи и весь народ этой земли, — разве не их вспомнил ГОСПОДЬ, разве не о них Он подумал?

22 So that the LORD3068 could3201 no3808 longer5750 bear,5375 because4480 6440 of the evil7455 of your doings,4611 and because4480 6440 of the abominations8441 which834 ye have committed;6213 therefore is1961 your land776 a desolation,2723 and an astonishment,8047 and a curse,7045 without4480 369 an inhabitant,3427 as at this2088 day.3117

22 Не мог ГОСПОДЬ больше терпеть злодеяний ваших, мерзостей, что вы творили, потому и стала земля ваша пустыней, наводящей ужас; землей безлюдной, над которой глумятся, — так это и ныне.

23 Because4480 6440 834 ye have burned incense,6999 and because834 ye have sinned2398 against the LORD,3068 and have not3808 obeyed8085 the voice6963 of the LORD,3068 nor3808 walked1980 in his law,8451 nor in his statutes,2708 nor in his testimonies;5715 therefore5921 3651 this2063 evil7451 is happened unto7122 you, as at this2088 day.3117

23 Всё это потому, что воскуряли вы благовония и грешили против ГОСПОДА, не слушались Его и не поступали по Закону Его, повелениям и установлениям Его, оттого и постигло вас это бедствие — как это и есть ныне».

24 Moreover Jeremiah3414 said559 unto413 all3605 the people,5971 and to413 all3605 the women,802 Hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD,3068 all3605 Judah3063 that834 are in the land776 of Egypt: 4714

24 Продолжил Иеремия говорить всему народу и всем женщинам: «Слушайте слово ГОСПОДНЕ вы, иудеи, живущие в Египте:

25 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel,3478 saying;559 Ye859 and your wives802 have both spoken1696 with your mouths,6310 and fulfilled4390 with your hand,3027 saying,559 We will surely perform6213 6213 853 our vows5088 that834 we have vowed,5087 to burn incense6999 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and to pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto her: ye will surely accomplish6965 6965 853 your vows,5088 and surely perform6213 6213 853 your vows.5088

25 „Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, Бог Израиля: „И вы, и жены ваши сами дали обеты и сами их исполняли, полагая: „Мы непременно должны исполнить обеты наши — воскурять благовония Владычице небесной и делать ей возлияния“. Так соблюдайте же обеты свои, не забудьте их выполнить!“

26 Therefore3651 hear8085 ye the word1697 of the LORD,3068 all3605 Judah3063 that dwell3427 in the land776 of Egypt;4714 Behold,2009 I have sworn7650 by my great1419 name,8034 saith559 the LORD,3068 that my name8034 shall no518 more5750 be1961 named7121 in the mouth6310 of any3605 man376 of Judah3063 in all3605 the land776 of Egypt,4714 saying,559 The Lord136 GOD3069 liveth.2416

26 Слушайте слово ГОСПОДНЕ вы, иудеи, живущие в Египте: „Я поклялся именем Своим великим, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — что отныне ни один человек из иудеев во всем Египте не будет более призывать имени Моего, говоря: „Воистину жив Владыка ГОСПОДЬ“.

27 Behold,2009 I will watch8245 over5921 them for evil,7451 and not3808 for good:2896 and all3605 the men376 of Judah3063 that834 are in the land776 of Egypt4714 shall be consumed8552 by the sword2719 and by the famine,7458 until5704 there be an end3615 of them.

27 Теперь Я слежу за ними на беду им, а не во благо, и будут гибнуть иудеи в Египте от меча и от голода, пока не будут полностью уничтожены.

28 Yet a small4962 number4557 that escape6412 the sword2719 shall return7725 out of4480 the land776 of Egypt4714 into the land776 of Judah,3063 and all3605 the remnant7611 of Judah,3063 that are gone935 into the land776 of Egypt4714 to sojourn1481 there,8033 shall know3045 whose4310 words1697 shall stand,6965 mine,4480 or theirs.4480

28 А те немногие, что спасутся от меча, вернутся из Египта в Иудею, и будет знать остаток Иудеи, ходивший в землю египетскую, чтобы там пожить какое-то время, чье слово сбылось — Мое или их.

29 And this2063 shall be a sign226 unto you, saith5002 the LORD,3068 that3588 I589 will punish6485 5921 you in this2088 place,4725 that4616 ye may know3045 that3588 my words1697 shall surely stand6965 6965 against5921 you for evil: 7451

29 Вот вам знамение того, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — что Я взыщу с вас в этом месте, чтобы вы знали, что Мои слова предостережения о грядущем бедствии исполнятся“.

30 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 Behold,2009 I will give5414 853 Pharaoh Hophra6548 king4428 of Egypt4714 into the hand3027 of his enemies,341 and into the hand3027 of them that seek1245 his life;5315 as834 I gave5414 853 Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah3063 into the hand3027 of Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon,894 his enemy,341 and that sought1245 his life.5315

30 Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Я предаю фараона Хофру, царя египетского, в руки врагов его, желающих его смерти, так же как Я предал Седекию, царя иудейского, в руки врага его Навуходоносора, царя вавилонского, желавшего его смерти“».
