Psalm 20

MAY the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you;

Send you help from his sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion.

Let the LORD remember all your offerings, and make acceptable your burnt sacrifices.

May the LORD grant you according to your own heart, and fulfil all your counsel.

We will be glorified in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will be exalted; the LORD fulfil all your petitions.

Henceforth it is known that the LORD has saved his anointed; and has heard him from his holy heaven and saved with the strength of his right hand.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will prevail through the name of the LORD our God.

They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand ready.

O LORD, save us, and let our King answer us in the day when we call upon him.
