1 And Israel3478 took his journey5265 with all3605 that834 he had, and came935 to Beer-sheba,884 and offered2076 sacrifices2077 unto the God430 of his father1 Isaac.3327

2 And God430 spoke559 unto Israel3478 in the visions4759 of the night,3915 and said,559 Jacob,3290 Jacob.3290 And he said,559 Here2009 am I.

3 And he said,559 I595 am God,410 the God430 of thy father:1 fear3372 not408 to go down4480 3381 into Egypt;4714 for3588 I will there8033 make7760 of thee a great1419 nation: 1471

4 I595 will go down3381 with5973 thee into Egypt;4714 and I595 will also1571 surely bring thee up5927 5927 again: and Joseph3130 shall put7896 his hand3027 upon5921 thine eyes.5869

5 雅各離別是巴、衆子以法老所遣之車載其父、爰及妻孥。

6 雅各驅羣畜、攜迦南所有之貨財、及子女與孫戚族、咸至埃及。

8 以色列衆子、至於埃及者、其畧如左。雅各長子流便、

9 流便生哈諾、法路、希斯崙、迦米、

10 西面生耶母利、雅民、阿轄、雅斤、瑣轄、少羅、少羅乃迦南女所出。

11 利未生革順、哥轄、米喇哩。

12 猶大生咡、阿楠、示拉、法勒士、撒拉。惟咡、阿楠死於迦南。法勒士生希斯崙、哈母勒。

31 約瑟謂父兄曰、我將覲法老、告之曰、昔在迦南、我之父兄、及眷聚咸至。

32 彼有羣畜、以牧爲業、今驅牛羊、及凡所有而至。

33 And it shall come to pass,1961 when3588 Pharaoh6547 shall call7121 you, and shall say,559 What4100 is your occupation?4639

33 倘法老召爾、問汝何業、
