以賽亞書

第53章

1 我所傳聞、篤信者誰、耶和華力大、誠服者誰、

2 受膏者生若草萊、萌於荒野、根株長於槁壤、容貌不揚、威儀不秩、人所共見、無艷羨之心、

3 彼爲人所藐視、所棄絕、屢遭困苦、憂心悄悄、人皆掩面而不覩、藐視而不敬。

4 見其困苦、以爲上帝譴責之、不知任我恙、肩我病者、正斯人也。

5 彼因我罪、而被傷殘、緣我咎而受瘡痍、彼遭刑罰、我享平康、彼見鞭扑、我得醫痊。

6 我迷於歧途、譬諸亡羊、所向靡定、耶和華使我愆尤叢於其身、

7 彼受屈抑、不啟厥口、爲人牽制、如羔羊就死地、又若羊對翦毛者而無聲。

8 彼遭難時、人審判之、不秉公義、爲民罪戾、而受譴責、生命且滅於世、遑計其後乎。

9 彼雖行不邪僻、言不誕妄、人儗瘞之、與惡人同穴、然終歸富人窀穸。

10 斯實耶和華之旨、使之糜爛、憂心悄悄、獻祭贖罪、可享遐齡、若子若孫、熾昌弗絕、耶和華之志、無不大成。

11 耶和華曰、余有良臣、先患難、後結果、心無不悅、彼也任人愆尤、使人咸知斯理、得稱爲義、

12 惟此良臣、人視爲罪犯中人。彼捐軀、爲人負罪、代惡者祈禱、故予必大賫之、舉凡富強之子皆屬焉。

Chapter 53

1 Who4310 has believed539 our report?8052 and to whom4310 is the arm2220 of the LORD3068 revealed?1540

2 For he shall grow5927 up before6440 him as a tender3126 plant, and as a root8328 out of a dry6723 ground:776 he has no3808 form8389 nor3808 comeliness;1926 and when we shall see7200 him, there is no3808 beauty4758 that we should desire2530 him.

3 He is despised959 and rejected2310 of men;376 a man376 of sorrows,4341 and acquainted3045 with grief:2483 and we hid5641 as it were our faces6440 from him; he was despised,959 and we esteemed2803 him not.

4 Surely403 he has borne5375 our griefs,2483 and carried5445 our sorrows:4341 yet we did esteem2803 him stricken,5060 smitten5221 of God,430 and afflicted.6031

5 But he was wounded2490 for our transgressions,6588 he was bruised1792 for our iniquities:5771 the chastisement4148 of our peace7965 was on him; and with his stripes2250 we are healed.7495

6 All3605 we like sheep6629 have gone8582 astray;8582 we have turned6437 every376 one376 to his own way;1870 and the LORD3068 has laid6293 on him the iniquity5771 of us all.3605

7 He was oppressed,5065 and he was afflicted,6031 yet he opened6605 not his mouth:6310 he is brought2986 as a lamb7716 to the slaughter,2874 and as a sheep7353 before6440 her shearers1494 is dumb,481 so he opens6605 not his mouth.6310

8 He was taken3947 from prison6115 and from judgment:4941 and who4310 shall declare7878 his generation?1755 for he was cut1504 off out of the land776 of the living:2416 for the transgression6588 of my people5971 was he stricken.5061

9 And he made5414 his grave6913 with the wicked,7563 and with the rich6223 in his death;4194 because5921 he had done6213 no3808 violence,2555 neither3808 was any deceit4820 in his mouth.6310

10 Yet it pleased2654 the LORD3068 to bruise1792 him; he has put him to grief:2470 when518 you shall make7760 his soul5315 an offering for sin,817 he shall see7200 his seed,2233 he shall prolong748 his days,3117 and the pleasure2656 of the LORD3068 shall prosper6743 in his hand.3027

11 He shall see7200 of the travail5999 of his soul,5315 and shall be satisfied:7646 by his knowledge1847 shall my righteous6662 servant5650 justify6663 many;7227 for he shall bear5445 their iniquities.5771

12 Therefore3651 will I divide2505 him a portion2506 with the great,7227 and he shall divide2505 the spoil7998 with the strong;6099 because8478 834 he has poured6168 out his soul5315 to death:4194 and he was numbered4487 with the transgressors;6586 and he bore5375 the sin2399 of many,7227 and made intercession6293 for the transgressors.6586
