1 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Диви́сь, — Я поставив тебе замість Бога для фараона, а твій брат Аарон буде пророк твій.

2 Ти бу́деш говорити все, що Я накажу́ тобі, а брат твій Аарон буде говорити фараонові, — і нехай він відпустить Ізраїлевих синів з свого кра́ю.

3 А Я вчиню́ запеклим фараонове серце, і помно́жу ознаки мої та чуда мої в єгипетськім кра́ї.

4 І не послухає вас фараон, а Я покладу́ Свою руку на Єгипет, і виведу війська Свої, наро́д Мій, синів Ізраїлевих, з єгипетського кра́ю великими при́судами.

5 І пізнають эгиптяни, що Я Госпо́дь, коли простягну Свою ру́ку на Єгипет — і виведу від них Ізраїлевих синів“.

6 І вчинив Мойсей та Аарон, — як звелів їм Господь, так учинили вони.

7 А Мойсей був віку восьмидесята літ, а Ааро́н восьмидесяти і трьох літ, коли вони говорили до фараона.

8 І промовив Господь до Мойсея й до Аарона, говорячи:

9 „Коли бу́де до вас говорити фараон, кажучи: Покажіть своє чудо, то скажеш Ааронові: Візьми свою палицю, та й кинь перед лицем фараоновим, — нехай станеться вужем!

10 І ввійшов Мойсей та Аарон до фараона, та й вчинили так, як наказав був Господь. І кинув Аарон палицю свою перед лицем фараона й перед його рабами, — і вона стала вужем!

11 І покликав фараон також мудреців та ворожбитів, — і вчинили так само й вони, чарівники́ єгипетські, своїми ча́рами.

12 І кинули кожен палицю свою, — і вони постава́ли вужа́ми. Та Ааронова па́лиця проковтнула палиці їхні.

13 Та затверділо фараонове серце, — і він не послухався їх, як говорив був Госпо́дь.

14 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Запекле фараонове серце, — він відмовив відпустити наро́д!

15 Піди до фараона рано вранці. Ось він вийде до води, а ти стань навпро́ти нього на бе́резі Річки. А палицю, що була змінена на вужа, ві́зьмеш у свою ру́ку.

16 І скажеш йому: „Господь, Бог євреїв, послав мене до те́бе, кажучи: Відпусти Мій наро́д, і нехай вони служать Мені на пустині! Та не послухався ти дотепе́р“.

17 Так сказав Господь: „По цьому пізнаєш, що Я Господь: Ось я вда́рю па́лицею, що в руці моїй, по воді, що в Річці, — і вона змі́ниться на кров!

18 А риба, що в Річці, погине. І засмердиться Річка, і попому́чаться єги́птяни, щоб пити во́ду з Рі́чки!“

19 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Скажи Ааронові: Візьми свою па́лицю, і простягни́ свою руку над водою єги́птян, над їхніми річка́ми, над їхніми потоками, і над става́ми їхніми, і над кожним водозбором їхнім, — і вони стануть кров'ю. І буде кров по всій єгипетській землі, і в по́суді дерев'янім, і в каміннім.“

20 І Мойсей та Аарон зробили так, як наказав був Господь. І підняв він палицю, та й ударив во́ду, що в Річці, на очах фараона й на очах його рабів. І змінилася вся вода, що в Річці, на кров!

21 А риби, що в Річці, погинули. І засмерділася Рі́чка, і не могли єги́птяни пити воду з Річки. І була кров у всім єгипетськім кра́ї.

22 І так само зробили єгипетські чарівники́ своїми ча́рами. І стало запеклим фараонове серце, — і він не послухався їх, як говорив був Господь.

23 І повернувся фараон, і ввійшов до до́му свого́, і не приклав він свого серця також до цього.

24 І всі єги́птяни копа́ли біля річки, щоб дістати води до пиття́, бо не могли пити води з річки.

25 І минуло сім день по то́му, як Господь ударив річку.

26 І промовив Господь до Мойсея: „Іди до фараона, та й скажи йому: Так сказав Господь: Відпусти Мій наро́д, — і нехай вони служать Мені.

27 А коли ти відмо́вишся відпустити, то ось Я вда́рю ввесь край твій жабами.

28 І стане річка рої́ти жаби, і вони повиходять, і вві́йдуть до твого дому, і до спальної кімна́ти твоєї, і на ліжко твоє, і до домів рабів твоїх, і до народу твого, і до печей твоїх, і до діжо́к твоїх.

29 І на тебе, і на народ твій, і на всіх рабів твоїх повилазять ці жаби“.

1 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 See,7200 I have made5414 you a god430 to Pharaoh:6547 and Aaron175 your brother251 shall be your prophet.5030

2 You shall speak1696 all3605 that I command6680 you: and Aaron175 your brother251 shall speak1696 to Pharaoh,6547 that he send7971 the children1121 of Israel3478 out of his land.776

3 And I will harden7185 Pharaoh's6547 heart,3820 and multiply7235 my signs226 and my wonders4159 in the land776 of Egypt.4714

4 But Pharaoh6547 shall not listen8085 to you, that I may lay5414 my hand3027 on Egypt,4714 and bring3318 forth3318 my armies,6635 and my people5971 the children1121 of Israel,3478 out of the land776 of Egypt4714 by great1419 judgments.8201

5 And the Egyptians4714 shall know3045 that I am the LORD,3068 when I stretch5186 forth my hand3027 on Egypt,4714 and bring3318 out the children1121 of Israel3478 from among8432 them.

6 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 did6213 as the LORD3068 commanded6680 them, so3651 did6213 they.

7 And Moses4872 was fourscore8084 years8141 old,1121 and Aaron175 fourscore8084 and three7969 years8141 old,1121 when they spoke1696 to Pharaoh.6547

8 And the LORD3068 spoke559 to Moses4872 and to Aaron,175 saying,559

9 When3588 Pharaoh6547 shall speak1696 to you, saying,559 Show5414 a miracle4159 for you: then you shall say559 to Aaron,175 Take3947 your rod,4294 and cast7993 it before6440 Pharaoh,6547 and it shall become1961 a serpent.8577

10 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 went935 in to Pharaoh,6547 and they did6213 so3651 as the LORD3068 had commanded:6680 and Aaron175 cast7993 down his rod4294 before6440 Pharaoh,6547 and before6440 his servants,5650 and it became1961 a serpent.8577

11 Then Pharaoh6547 also1571 called7121 the wise2450 men and the sorcerers:3784 now the magicians2748 of Egypt,4714 they also1571 did6213 in like3651 manner3651 with their enchantments.3858

12 For they cast7993 down every376 man376 his rod,4294 and they became1961 serpents:8577 but Aaron's175 rod4294 swallowed1104 up their rods.4294

13 And he hardened2388 Pharaoh's6547 heart,3820 that he listened8085 not to them; as the LORD3068 had said.1696

14 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Pharaoh's6547 heart3820 is hardened,3515 he refuses3985 to let the people5971 go.7971

15 Get3212 you to Pharaoh6547 in the morning;1242 see,2009 he goes3318 out to the water;4325 and you shall stand5324 by the river's2975 brink8193 against7125 he come;7125 and the rod4294 which834 was turned2015 to a serpent5175 shall you take3947 in your hand.3027

16 And you shall say559 to him, The LORD3068 God430 of the Hebrews5680 has sent7971 me to you, saying,559 Let my people5971 go,7971 that they may serve5647 me in the wilderness:4057 and, behold,2009 till now5704 3541 you would not hear.8085

17 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 In this2063 you shall know3045 that I am the LORD:3068 behold,2009 I will smite5221 with the rod4294 that is in my hand3027 on the waters4325 which834 are in the river,2975 and they shall be turned2015 to blood.1818

18 And the fish1710 that is in the river2975 shall die,4191 and the river2975 shall stink;887 and the Egyptians4714 shall loathe3811 to drink8354 of the water4325 of the river.2975

19 And the LORD3068 spoke559 to Moses,4872 Say559 to Aaron,175 Take3947 your rod,4294 and stretch5186 out your hand3027 on the waters4325 of Egypt,4714 on their streams,5104 on their rivers,2975 and on their ponds,98 and on all3605 their pools4723 of water,4325 that they may become1961 blood;1818 and that there may be blood1818 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt,4714 both in vessels of wood,6086 and in vessels of stone.68

20 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 did6213 so,3651 as the LORD3068 commanded;6680 and he lifted7311 up the rod,4294 and smote5221 the waters4325 that were in the river,2975 in the sight5869 of Pharaoh,6547 and in the sight5869 of his servants;5650 and all3605 the waters4325 that were in the river2975 were turned2015 to blood.1818

21 And the fish1710 that was in the river2975 died;4191 and the river2975 stank,887 and the Egyptians4714 could3201 not drink8354 of the water4325 of the river;2975 and there was blood1818 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt.4714

22 And the magicians2748 of Egypt4714 did6213 so3651 with their enchantments:3909 and Pharaoh's6547 heart3820 was hardened,2388 neither3808 did he listen8085 to them; as the LORD3068 had said.1696

23 And Pharaoh6547 turned6437 and went935 into413 his house,1004 neither3808 did he set7896 his heart3820 to this2063 also.1571

24 And all3605 the Egyptians4714 dig2658 round5439 about the river2975 for water4325 to drink;8354 for they could3201 not drink8354 of the water4325 of the river.2975

25 And seven7651 days3117 were fulfilled,4390 after310 that the LORD3068 had smitten5221 the river.2975

2 Ти бу́деш говорити все, що Я накажу́ тобі, а брат твій Аарон буде говорити фараонові, — і нехай він відпустить Ізраїлевих синів з свого кра́ю.

2 You shall speak1696 all3605 that I command6680 you: and Aaron175 your brother251 shall speak1696 to Pharaoh,6547 that he send7971 the children1121 of Israel3478 out of his land.776

3 А Я вчиню́ запеклим фараонове серце, і помно́жу ознаки мої та чуда мої в єгипетськім кра́ї.

3 And I will harden7185 Pharaoh's6547 heart,3820 and multiply7235 my signs226 and my wonders4159 in the land776 of Egypt.4714

5 І пізнають эгиптяни, що Я Госпо́дь, коли простягну Свою ру́ку на Єгипет — і виведу від них Ізраїлевих синів“.

5 And the Egyptians4714 shall know3045 that I am the LORD,3068 when I stretch5186 forth my hand3027 on Egypt,4714 and bring3318 out the children1121 of Israel3478 from among8432 them.

6 І вчинив Мойсей та Аарон, — як звелів їм Господь, так учинили вони.

6 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 did6213 as the LORD3068 commanded6680 them, so3651 did6213 they.

7 А Мойсей був віку восьмидесята літ, а Ааро́н восьмидесяти і трьох літ, коли вони говорили до фараона.

7 And Moses4872 was fourscore8084 years8141 old,1121 and Aaron175 fourscore8084 and three7969 years8141 old,1121 when they spoke1696 to Pharaoh.6547

8 І промовив Господь до Мойсея й до Аарона, говорячи:

8 And the LORD3068 spoke559 to Moses4872 and to Aaron,175 saying,559

9 „Коли бу́де до вас говорити фараон, кажучи: Покажіть своє чудо, то скажеш Ааронові: Візьми свою палицю, та й кинь перед лицем фараоновим, — нехай станеться вужем!

10 І ввійшов Мойсей та Аарон до фараона, та й вчинили так, як наказав був Господь. І кинув Аарон палицю свою перед лицем фараона й перед його рабами, — і вона стала вужем!

10 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 went935 in to Pharaoh,6547 and they did6213 so3651 as the LORD3068 had commanded:6680 and Aaron175 cast7993 down his rod4294 before6440 Pharaoh,6547 and before6440 his servants,5650 and it became1961 a serpent.8577

11 І покликав фараон також мудреців та ворожбитів, — і вчинили так само й вони, чарівники́ єгипетські, своїми ча́рами.

11 Then Pharaoh6547 also1571 called7121 the wise2450 men and the sorcerers:3784 now the magicians2748 of Egypt,4714 they also1571 did6213 in like3651 manner3651 with their enchantments.3858

12 І кинули кожен палицю свою, — і вони постава́ли вужа́ми. Та Ааронова па́лиця проковтнула палиці їхні.

12 For they cast7993 down every376 man376 his rod,4294 and they became1961 serpents:8577 but Aaron's175 rod4294 swallowed1104 up their rods.4294

13 Та затверділо фараонове серце, — і він не послухався їх, як говорив був Госпо́дь.

13 And he hardened2388 Pharaoh's6547 heart,3820 that he listened8085 not to them; as the LORD3068 had said.1696

14 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Запекле фараонове серце, — він відмовив відпустити наро́д!

14 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Pharaoh's6547 heart3820 is hardened,3515 he refuses3985 to let the people5971 go.7971

15 Піди до фараона рано вранці. Ось він вийде до води, а ти стань навпро́ти нього на бе́резі Річки. А палицю, що була змінена на вужа, ві́зьмеш у свою ру́ку.

17 Так сказав Господь: „По цьому пізнаєш, що Я Господь: Ось я вда́рю па́лицею, що в руці моїй, по воді, що в Річці, — і вона змі́ниться на кров!

17 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 In this2063 you shall know3045 that I am the LORD:3068 behold,2009 I will smite5221 with the rod4294 that is in my hand3027 on the waters4325 which834 are in the river,2975 and they shall be turned2015 to blood.1818

18 А риба, що в Річці, погине. І засмердиться Річка, і попому́чаться єги́птяни, щоб пити во́ду з Рі́чки!“

18 And the fish1710 that is in the river2975 shall die,4191 and the river2975 shall stink;887 and the Egyptians4714 shall loathe3811 to drink8354 of the water4325 of the river.2975

19 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Скажи Ааронові: Візьми свою па́лицю, і простягни́ свою руку над водою єги́птян, над їхніми річка́ми, над їхніми потоками, і над става́ми їхніми, і над кожним водозбором їхнім, — і вони стануть кров'ю. І буде кров по всій єгипетській землі, і в по́суді дерев'янім, і в каміннім.“

20 І Мойсей та Аарон зробили так, як наказав був Господь. І підняв він палицю, та й ударив во́ду, що в Річці, на очах фараона й на очах його рабів. І змінилася вся вода, що в Річці, на кров!

21 А риби, що в Річці, погинули. І засмерділася Рі́чка, і не могли єги́птяни пити воду з Річки. І була кров у всім єгипетськім кра́ї.

21 And the fish1710 that was in the river2975 died;4191 and the river2975 stank,887 and the Egyptians4714 could3201 not drink8354 of the water4325 of the river;2975 and there was blood1818 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt.4714

22 І так само зробили єгипетські чарівники́ своїми ча́рами. І стало запеклим фараонове серце, — і він не послухався їх, як говорив був Господь.

22 And the magicians2748 of Egypt4714 did6213 so3651 with their enchantments:3909 and Pharaoh's6547 heart3820 was hardened,2388 neither3808 did he listen8085 to them; as the LORD3068 had said.1696

23 І повернувся фараон, і ввійшов до до́му свого́, і не приклав він свого серця також до цього.

23 And Pharaoh6547 turned6437 and went935 into413 his house,1004 neither3808 did he set7896 his heart3820 to this2063 also.1571

24 І всі єги́птяни копа́ли біля річки, щоб дістати води до пиття́, бо не могли пити води з річки.

24 And all3605 the Egyptians4714 dig2658 round5439 about the river2975 for water4325 to drink;8354 for they could3201 not drink8354 of the water4325 of the river.2975

25 І минуло сім день по то́му, як Господь ударив річку.

25 And seven7651 days3117 were fulfilled,4390 after310 that the LORD3068 had smitten5221 the river.2975

26 І промовив Господь до Мойсея: „Іди до фараона, та й скажи йому: Так сказав Господь: Відпусти Мій наро́д, — і нехай вони служать Мені.

27 А коли ти відмо́вишся відпустити, то ось Я вда́рю ввесь край твій жабами.

28 І стане річка рої́ти жаби, і вони повиходять, і вві́йдуть до твого дому, і до спальної кімна́ти твоєї, і на ліжко твоє, і до домів рабів твоїх, і до народу твого, і до печей твоїх, і до діжо́к твоїх.

29 І на тебе, і на народ твій, і на всіх рабів твоїх повилазять ці жаби“.
