1 Главы колена Галаада, сына Махира, сына Манассии, сына Иосифа, пришли к Моисею

2 и сказали: «Господин, Господь повелел нам разбирать наши наделы земли согласно жребию. Господин, Господь повелел отдать землю Салпаада его дочерям: Салпаад был нашим братом.

3 Что если кто-то из другого рода женится на одной из дочерей Салпаада? Ведь тогда наша семья потеряет эту землю, другой род получит её, и мы лишимся земли, полученной по жребию?

4 А что будет в Юбилейный год, когда вся земля возвращается к тому роду, который законно владеет ею? Кто тогда получит землю, принадлежащую дочерям Салпаада? Неужели наш род навсегда потеряет эту землю?»

5 Моисей передал израильскому народу повеление Господа: «Эти люди из рода Иосифа правы!

6 Вот Господний наказ дочерям Салпаада: если хотите выйти замуж, то выходите за кого-то из вашего собственного рода!

7 Чтобы земля у израильского народа не переходила из рода в род, тогда каждый израильтянин сохранит землю, принадлежавшую его предкам.

8 Если же женщина получит землю отца, то пусть выходит замуж за кого-нибудь из своего рода, и, таким образом, каждый сохранит землю, принадлежавшую его предкам.

9 Итак, пусть земля не переходит от рода к роду, и пусть каждый израильтянин сохраняет землю, принадлежавшую его предкам».

10 Дочери Салпаада исполнили то, что Господь повелел Моисею.

11 Дочери Салпаада: Махла, Фирца, Хогла, Милка и Ноа вышли замуж за своих двоюродных братьев с отцовской стороны,

12 и так как их мужья были из одного из колен Манассии, то их земля по-прежнему принадлежала колену и роду их отца.

13 Вот какие законы и заповеди Господь дал Моисею в долине Иордана, в Моаве, у реки Иордан, находящимся напротив Иерихона.

2 And they said,559 The LORD3068 commanded6680 my lord113 to give5414 the land776 for an inheritance5159 by lot1486 to the children1121 of Israel:3478 and my lord113 was commanded6680 by the LORD3068 to give5414 the inheritance5159 of Zelophehad6765 our brother251 to his daughters.1323

3 And if they be married802 to any259 of the sons1121 of the other259 tribes7626 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 then shall their inheritance5159 be taken1639 from the inheritance5159 of our fathers,1 and shall be put3254 to the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto they are received:1961 so shall it be taken1639 from the lot1486 of our inheritance.5159

4 And when518 the jubilee3104 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall be, then shall their inheritance5159 be put3254 to the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto834 they are received:1961 so shall their inheritance5159 be taken1639 away from the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 of our fathers.1

5 And Moses4872 commanded6680 the children1121 of Israel3478 according5921 to the word6310 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 The tribe4294 of the sons1121 of Joseph3130 has said1696 well.3651

6 This2088 is the thing1697 which834 the LORD3068 does command6680 concerning the daughters1323 of Zelophehad,6765 saying,559 Let them marry802 to whom they think5869 best;2896 only389 to the family4940 of the tribe4294 of their father1 shall they marry.802

7 So shall not the inheritance5159 of the children1121 of Israel3478 remove5437 from tribe4294 to tribe:4294 for every376 one376 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall keep1692 himself to the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 of his fathers.1

8 And every3605 daughter,1323 that possesses3423 an inheritance5159 in any tribe4294 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 shall be wife802 to one259 of the family4940 of the tribe4294 of her father,1 that the children1121 of Israel3478 may enjoy3423 every man376 the inheritance5159 of his fathers.1

9 Neither3808 shall the inheritance5159 remove5437 from one tribe4294 to another312 tribe;4294 but every376 one376 of the tribes4294 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall keep1692 himself to his own inheritance.5159

10 Even as the LORD3068 commanded6680 Moses,4872 so3651 did6213 the daughters1323 of Zelophehad:6765

11 For Mahlah,4244 Tirzah,8656 and Hoglah,2295 and Milcah,4435 and Noah,5270 the daughters1323 of Zelophehad,6765 were married802 to their father's1730 brothers'1730 sons:1121

12 And they were married802 into the families4940 of the sons1121 of Manasseh4519 the son1121 of Joseph,3130 and their inheritance5159 remained1961 in the tribe4294 of the family4940 of their father.1

13 These428 are the commandments4687 and the judgments,4941 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 by the hand3027 of Moses4872 to the children1121 of Israel3478 in the plains6160 of Moab4124 by Jordan3383 near Jericho.3405

5 Моисей передал израильскому народу повеление Господа: «Эти люди из рода Иосифа правы!

8 And every3605 daughter,1323 that possesses3423 an inheritance5159 in any tribe4294 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 shall be wife802 to one259 of the family4940 of the tribe4294 of her father,1 that the children1121 of Israel3478 may enjoy3423 every man376 the inheritance5159 of his fathers.1
