Chapter 17

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to the children of Israel, and take from every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, from all their princes according to the house of their fathers, twelve rods; write each man's name upon his rod.

3 And you shall write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi; for one rod shall be for the head of the tribe of their fathers.

4 And you shall put them in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.

5 And it shall come to pass, that the rod of the man with whom I am pleased shall bud; thus I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.

6 And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, twelve rods; and the rod of Aaron was in the midst of their rods.

7 And Moses placed the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of the testimony.

8 And on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of the testimony; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and blossomed, and yielded ripe almonds.

9 And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD to all the children of Israel; and they looked, and took every man his rod.

10 And the LORD said to Moses, Bring Aaron's rod back before the testimony, to be kept as a token for the rebellious children; so that their murmurings may cease from me, that they die not.

11 And Moses did so; as the LORD commanded him, so did he.

12 And the children of Israel said to Moses, Behold, we perish and are lost, we all perish.

13 Whosoever comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD shall die; and, behold, we also are near to perish.

3 имя8034 Аарона175 напиши3789 на жезле4294 Левиином,3878 ибо один259 жезл4294 от начальника7218 колена10041 их должны они дать;

4 и положи3240 их в скинии168 собрания,4150 пред3942 ковчегом откровения,5715 где являюсь3259 Я вам;

5 и кого Я изберу,977 того376 жезл4294 расцветет;6524 и так Я успокою7918 ропот8519 сынов1121 Израилевых,3478 которым они ропщут3885 на вас.

6 И сказал1696 Моисей4872 сынам1121 Израилевым,3478 и дали5414 ему все начальники5387 их, от каждого5387 начальника5387 по жезлу,4294 по коленам10041 их двенадцать62408147 жезлов,4294 и жезл4294 Ааронов175 был среди8432 жезлов4294 их.

10 И сказал559 Господь3068 Моисею:4872 положи7725 опять7725 жезл4294 Ааронов175 пред3942 ковчегом откровения5715 на сохранение,4931 в знамение226 для непокорных,48051121 чтобы прекратился3615 ропот8519 их на Меня, и они не умирали.4191

11 Моисей4872 сделал6213 это; как повелел6680 ему Господь,3068 так он и сделал.6213

12 И сказали559 сыны1121 Израилевы3478 Моисею:4872 вот, мы умираем,1478 погибаем,6 все погибаем!6

13 всякий, приближающийся7131 к скинии4908 Господней,3068 умирает:4191 не придется8552 ли всем нам умереть?1478

10 And the LORD said to Moses, Bring Aaron's rod back before the testimony, to be kept as a token for the rebellious children; so that their murmurings may cease from me, that they die not.

12 And the children of Israel said to Moses, Behold, we perish and are lost, we all perish.

12 И сказали559 сыны1121 Израилевы3478 Моисею:4872 вот, мы умираем,1478 погибаем,6 все погибаем!6

13 Whosoever comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD shall die; and, behold, we also are near to perish.

13 всякий, приближающийся7131 к скинии4908 Господней,3068 умирает:4191 не придется8552 ли всем нам умереть?1478
