Chapter 34

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Command the children of Israel and say to them, When you enter the land of Canaan (this is the land which shall be divided to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with its territories),

3 Then your south boundary shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the border of Edom, and your southern border shall be from the end of the salt sea eastward;

4 And your boundary shall turn from the south to the ascent of Sepharvim, and pass on to Zin; and the limits thereof shall be from the south of Rakim-gia, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon;

5 And the boundary shall turn from Azmon to the river of Egypt, and the limits thereof shall be at the sea.

6 And as for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea and its coasts; this shall be your western border.

7 And this shall be your northern border: from the Great Sea you shall mark out for you a boundary to mount Hor;

8 From mount Hor you shall mark out the boundary to the entrance of Hamath; and the limits of the border shall be at Zedad;

9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and its end shall be at Hazar-enan; these shall be your northern boundaries.

10 And you shall mark out your eastern boundary from Hazar-enan to Shepham;

11 And the boundary shall go down from Shepham to Diblath, on the east side of Ain; and the boundary shall descend and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

12 And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its limits shall be at the salt sea; this shall be your land with the borders thereof round about.

13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which you shall divide by lots, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe;

14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, and the half tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance;

15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.

16 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

17 These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun.

18 And you shall take one prince of every tribe to divide the land to you.

19 And these are the names of the chiefs: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jophaniah.

20 Of the tribe of Simeon, Shelmuel the son of Ammihud.

21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Eldad the son of Chislon.

22 Of the tribe of Dan, Bakki the son of Jogli.

23 Of the tribe of Joseph, of the tribe of Manasseh, Nahlael the son of Ephod.

24 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiptan.

25 Of the tribe of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

26 Of the tribe of Issachar, Petael the son of Azzor.

27 Of the tribe of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

28 Of the tribe of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.

29 These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

2 – Дай исраильтянам повеление и скажи им: «Когда вы войдёте в Ханаан, то у земли, которая будет дана вам в удел, будут такие границы.

3 Южная сторона у вас будет простираться от пустыни Цин вдоль границы Эдома. На востоке ваша южная граница будет начинаться от края Мёртвого моря, .

4 проходить на юг к Скорпионовой возвышенности, . тянуться через Цин и идти на юг в направлении Кадеш-Барни. Оттуда она пойдёт к Хацар-Аддару и пройдёт к Ацмоне,

5 где повернёт к речке на границе Египта и закончится у Средиземного моря.

6 Вашей западной границей будет побережье Средиземного моря. . Это ваша граница на западе.

7 Для северной границы проведите рубеж от Средиземного моря до горы Ор,

8 а от горы Ор до Лево-Хамата. . Оттуда граница пойдёт к Цедаду,

9 продолжится к Зифрону и закончится в Хацар-Енане. Это ваша граница на севере.

10 Для восточной границы проведите рубеж от Хацар-Енана до Шефама.

11 Граница пойдёт от Шефама к Ривле на восточной стороне Аина и продолжится по склонам к востоку от Генисаретского озера.

12 Затем граница спустится по Иордану и дойдёт до Мёртвого моря. Это ваша земля – с её границами на каждой стороне».

13 Муса повелел исраильтянам: – Это та земля, которую вы получите в удел по жребию. Вечный повелел отдать её девяти с половиной родам,

14 потому что семьи родов Рувима, Гада и половина рода Манассы уже получили надел.

15 Эти два с половиной рода получили надел на восточной стороне Иордана, напротив Иерихона.

16 Вечный сказал Мусе:

17 – Вот имена тех, кто разделит землю вам в удел: священнослужитель Элеазар и Иешуа, сын Нуна.

18 Назначьте по одному вождю от каждого рода, чтобы помочь делить землю.

19 Вот их имена:
Халев, сын Иефоннии, от рода Иуды;

20 Шемуил, сын Аммихуда, от рода Шимона;

21 Элидад, сын Кислона, от рода Вениамина;

22 Буккий, сын Иогли, вождь от рода Дана;

23 Ханниил, сын Эфода, вождь от рода Манассы, сына Юсуфа;

24 Кемуил, сын Шифтана, вождь от рода Ефраима, сына Юсуфа;

25 Элицафан, сын Парнаха, вождь от рода Завулона;

26 Палтиил, сын Аззана, вождь от рода Иссахара;

27 Ахиуд, сын Шеломи, вождь от рода Ашира;

28 Педаил, сын Аммихуда, вождь от рода Неффалима.

29 Это те, кому Вечный велел назначить исраильтянам наделы в земле Ханаана.

5 где повернёт к речке на границе Египта и закончится у Средиземного моря.

6 And as for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea and its coasts; this shall be your western border.

6 Вашей западной границей будет побережье Средиземного моря. . Это ваша граница на западе.

7 And this shall be your northern border: from the Great Sea you shall mark out for you a boundary to mount Hor;

7 Для северной границы проведите рубеж от Средиземного моря до горы Ор,

8 From mount Hor you shall mark out the boundary to the entrance of Hamath; and the limits of the border shall be at Zedad;

8 а от горы Ор до Лево-Хамата. . Оттуда граница пойдёт к Цедаду,

9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and its end shall be at Hazar-enan; these shall be your northern boundaries.

9 продолжится к Зифрону и закончится в Хацар-Енане. Это ваша граница на севере.

10 And you shall mark out your eastern boundary from Hazar-enan to Shepham;

10 Для восточной границы проведите рубеж от Хацар-Енана до Шефама.

11 And the boundary shall go down from Shepham to Diblath, on the east side of Ain; and the boundary shall descend and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

11 Граница пойдёт от Шефама к Ривле на восточной стороне Аина и продолжится по склонам к востоку от Генисаретского озера.

12 And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its limits shall be at the salt sea; this shall be your land with the borders thereof round about.

12 Затем граница спустится по Иордану и дойдёт до Мёртвого моря. Это ваша земля – с её границами на каждой стороне».

13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which you shall divide by lots, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe;

13 Муса повелел исраильтянам: – Это та земля, которую вы получите в удел по жребию. Вечный повелел отдать её девяти с половиной родам,

14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, and the half tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance;

14 потому что семьи родов Рувима, Гада и половина рода Манассы уже получили надел.

15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.

15 Эти два с половиной рода получили надел на восточной стороне Иордана, напротив Иерихона.

16 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

18 And you shall take one prince of every tribe to divide the land to you.

19 And these are the names of the chiefs: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jophaniah.

19 Вот их имена:
