2 And Balak1111 did6213 as834 Balaam1109 had spoken;1696 and Balak1111 and Balaam1109 offered5927 on every altar4196 a bullock6499 and a ram.352

3 Und1111 Bileam1109 sprach559 zu Balak: Tritt3320 bei dein Brandopfer5930; ich will7200 hingehen, ob vielleicht mir5046 der HErr3068 begegne7136, daß ich dir ansage, was1697 er mir zeiget. Und ging3212 hin3212 eilend8205.

3 And Balaam1109 said559 unto Balak,1111 Stand3320 by5921 thy burnt offering,5930 and I will go:1980 peradventure194 the LORD3068 will come7136 to meet7125 me: and whatsoever1697 4100 he showeth7200 me I will tell5046 thee. And he went1980 to a high place.8205

4 Und GOtt430 begegnete7136 Bileam1109; er aber sprach559 zu ihm: Sieben7651 Altäre4196 habe ich zugerichtet6186 und je auf5927 einem Altar4196 einen Farren6499 und einen Widder352 geopfert.

4 And God430 met7136 413 Balaam:1109 and he said559 unto413 him, I have prepared6186 853 seven7651 altars,4196 and I have offered5927 upon every altar4196 a bullock6499 and a ram.352

5 Der HErr3068 aber gab7760 das Wort1697 dem Bileam1109 in den Mund6310 und1111 sprach559: Gehe wieder7725 zu Balak und rede1696 also.
|
5 And the LORD3068 put7760 a word1697 in Balaam's1109 mouth,6310 and said,559 Return7725 unto413 Balak,1111 and thus3541 thou shalt speak.1696

6 Und da er5324 wieder7725 zu ihm kam, siehe, da stund er bei seinem Brandopfer5930 samt allen Fürsten8269 der Moabiter4124.
|
6 And he returned7725 unto413 him, and, lo,2009 he stood5324 by5921 his burnt sacrifice,5930 he,1931 and all3605 the princes8269 of Moab.4124

7 Da hub er an5375 seinen Spruch4912 und1111 sprach559: Aus Syrien758 hat5148 mich Balak, der Moabiter4124 König4428, holen lassen von dem779 Gebirge2042 gegen dem Aufgang6924: Komm3212, verfluche mir Jakob3290! Komm3212, schilt2194 Israel3478!

7 And he took up5375 his parable,4912 and said,559 Balak1111 the king4428 of Moab4124 hath brought5148 me from4480 Aram,758 out of the mountains4480 2042 of the east,6924 saying, Come,1980 curse779 me Jacob,3290 and come,1980 defy2194 Israel.3478

8 Wie4100 soll ich fluchen5344, dem GOtt410 nicht fluchet? Wie soll ich schelten2194, den der HErr3068 nicht schilt2194?

8 How4100 shall I curse,6895 whom God410 hath not3808 cursed?6895 or how4100 shall I defy,2194 whom the LORD3068 hath not3808 defied?2194
|

9 Denn von der Höhe7218 der Felsen6697 sehe7200 ich7789 ihn wohl und von den Hügeln1389 schaue ich ihn. Siehe, das Volk5971 wird besonders910 wohnen7931 und nicht unter die Heiden1471 gerechnet werden2803.
|
9 For3588 from the top4480 7218 of the rocks6697 I see7200 him, and from the hills4480 1389 I behold7789 him: lo,2005 the people5971 shall dwell7931 alone,910 and shall not3808 be reckoned2803 among the nations.1471

10 Wer kann zählen4487 den Staub6083 Jakobs3290 und die Zahl4557 des vierten7255 Teils Israels3478? Meine See LE5315 müsse sterben4194 des Todes4191 der Gerechten3477, und mein Ende319 werde wie dieser Ende!

10 Who4310 can count4487 the dust6083 of Jacob,3290 and the number4557 of853 the fourth7255 part of Israel?3478 Let me5315 die4191 the death4194 of the righteous,3477 and let my last end319 be1961 like his!3644

11 Da sprach559 Balak zu Bileam1109: Was tust du an mir? Ich habe6213 dich1288 holen lassen3947, zu fluchen6895 meinen Feinden341; und1111 siehe, du segnest1288.

11 And Balak1111 said559 unto413 Balaam,1109 What4100 hast thou done6213 unto me? I took3947 thee to curse6895 mine enemies,341 and, behold,2009 thou hast blessed them altogether.1288 1288

12 Er7760 antwortete6030 und sprach559: Muß ich nicht das halten8104 und reden1696, das mir der HErr3068 in den Mund6310 gibt?

12 And he answered6030 and said,559 Must I not3808 take heed8104 to speak1696 that853 which834 the LORD3068 hath put7760 in my mouth?6310

13 Balak sprach559 zu ihm: Komm3212 doch mit mir an7200 einen andern312 Ort4725, von dannen du sein Ende7097 sehest7200 und1111 doch nicht ganz sehest7200; und fluche6895 mir ihm daselbst.
|
13 And Balak1111 said559 unto413 him, Come,1980 I pray thee,4994 with854 me unto413 another312 place,4725 from whence834 4480 8033 thou mayest see7200 them: thou shalt see7200 but657 the utmost part7097 of them, and shalt not3808 see7200 them all:3605 and curse6895 me them from thence.4480 8033

14 Und er1129 führete ihn7704 auf3947 einen freien Platz6839 auf5927 der Höhe7218 Pisga6449 und bauete sieben7651 Altäre4196; und opferte je auf einem Altar4196 einen Farren6499 und einen Widder352.

14 And he brought3947 him into the field7704 of Zophim,6839 to413 the top7218 of Pisgah,6449 and built1129 seven7651 altars,4196 and offered5927 a bullock6499 and a ram352 on every altar.4196

15 Und1111 sprach559 zu Balak: Tritt3320 also3541 bei dein Brandopfer5930; ich will dort warten7136.

15 And he said559 unto413 Balak,1111 Stand3320 here3541 by5921 thy burnt offering,5930 while I595 meet7136 the LORD yonder.3541

16 Und1111 der HErr3068 begegnete7136 Bileam1109 und gab7760 ihm das Wort1697 in seinen Mund6310 und sprach559: Gehe wieder7725 zu Balak und rede1696 also.

16 And the LORD3068 met7136 413 Balaam,1109 and put7760 a word1697 in his mouth,6310 and said,559 Go again7725 unto413 Balak,1111 and say1696 thus.3541

17 Und1111 da er5324 wieder zu ihm kam935, siehe, da stund er bei seinem Brandopfer5930 samt den Fürsten8269 der Moabiter4124. Und Balak sprach zu ihm: Was hat1696 der HErr3068 gesagt559?

17 And when he came935 to413 him, behold,2009 he stood5324 by5921 his burnt offering,5930 and the princes8269 of Moab4124 with854 him. And Balak1111 said559 unto him, What4100 hath the LORD3068 spoken?1696

18 Und1111 er hub an seinen Spruch4912 und sprach559: Stehe auf6965, Balak, und höre238! Nimm5375 zu8085 Ohren, was ich sage, du Sohn1121 Zipors!

18 And he took up5375 his parable,4912 and said,559 Rise up,6965 Balak,1111 and hear;8085 hearken238 unto5704 me, thou son1121 of Zippor: 6834

19 GOtt410 ist nicht ein376 Mensch120, daß er lüge3576, noch ein Menschenkind, daß ihn etwas gereue5162. Sollte er etwas sagen559 und1121 nicht tun6213? Sollte er etwas reden1696 und nicht halten6965?
|
19 God410 is not3808 a man,376 that he should lie;3576 neither the son1121 of man,120 that he should repent:5162 hath he1931 said,559 and shall he not3808 do6213 it? or hath he spoken,1696 and shall he not3808 make it good?6965
|
|
20 Siehe, zu segnen1288 bin ich hergebracht3947; ich segne und kann‘s nicht wenden7725.
|
20 Behold,2009 I have received3947 commandment to bless:1288 and he hath blessed;1288 and I cannot3808 reverse7725 it.
|
|
21 Man siehet keine Mühe205 in Jakob3290 und keine Arbeit5999 in Israel3478. Der HErr3068, sein GOtt430; ist7200 bei ihm, und das Trommeten des Königs4428 unter ihm.
|
21 He hath not3808 beheld5027 iniquity205 in Jacob,3290 neither3808 hath he seen7200 perverseness5999 in Israel:3478 the LORD3068 his God430 is with5973 him, and the shout8643 of a king4428 is among them.
|
|
22 GOtt410 hat sie aus3318 Ägypten4714 geführet; seine Freudigkeit8443 ist wie eines Einhorns7214.
|
22 God410 brought them out3318 of Egypt;4480 4714 he hath as it were the strength8443 of a unicorn.7214
|
|
23 Denn es ist kein Zauberer5173 in Jakob3290 und kein Wahrsager7081 in Israel3478. Zu seiner Zeit6256 wird man559 von Jakob3290 sagen und von Israel3478, welche Wunder GOtt410 tut6466.
|
23 Surely3588 there is no3808 enchantment5173 against Jacob,3290 neither3808 is there any divination7081 against Israel:3478 according to this time6256 it shall be said559 of Jacob3290 and of Israel,3478 What4100 hath God410 wrought!6466

24 Siehe, das Volk5971 wird aufstehen wie ein junger Löwe3833, und wird sich6965 erheben5375 wie ein Löwe738; es wird sich7901 nicht legen, bis es den Raub2964 fresse398 und das Blut1818 der Erschlagenen2491 saufe8354.
|
24 Behold,2005 the people5971 shall rise up6965 as a great lion,3833 and lift up himself5375 as a young lion:738 he shall not3808 lie down7901 until5704 he eat398 of the prey,2964 and drink8354 the blood1818 of the slain.2491

25 Da sprach559 Balak zu Bileam1109: Du1288 sollst ihm1111 weder fluchen5344 noch segnen1288.
|
25 And Balak1111 said559 unto413 Balaam,1109 Neither1571 3808 curse them at all,6895 6895 nor1571 3808 bless them at all.1288 1288

26 Bileam1109 antwortete6030 und1111 sprach559 zu Balak: Habe1696 ich dir nicht gesagt559, alles, was der HErr3068 reden1696 würde, das würde ich tun6213?
|
26 But Balaam1109 answered6030 and said559 unto413 Balak,1111 Told1696 413 not3808 I thee, saying,559 All3605 that834 the LORD3068 speaketh,1696 that I must do?6213
|
|
27 Balak sprach559 zu ihm1111: Komm3212 doch, ich will dich5869 an einen andern312 Ort4725 führen, ob‘s vielleicht GOtt430 gefalle3474, daß du daselbst mir sie3947 verfluchest.
|
27 And Balak1111 said559 unto413 Balaam,1109 Come,1980 I pray thee,4994 I will bring3947 thee unto413 another312 place;4725 peradventure194 it will please3474 5869 God430 that thou mayest curse6895 me them from thence.4480 8033

28 Und1111 er führete ihn1109 auf3947 die Höhe7218 des Berges Peor6465, welcher gegen6440 die Wüste3452 siehet.

28 And Balak1111 brought3947 853 Balaam1109 unto the top7218 of Peor,6465 that looketh8259 toward5921 6440 Jeshimon.3452

29 Und1111 Bileam1109 sprach559 zu3559 Balak: Baue1129 mir hie sieben7651 Altäre4196 und schaffe mir sieben7651 Farren6499 und sieben7651 Widder352.
