9 And think1380 not to say3004 within1722 yourselves,1438 We have2192 Abraham11 to our father:3962 for I say3004 to you, that God2316 is able1410 of these5130 stones3037 to raise1453 up children5043 to Abraham.11

10 Es ist2532 schon2235 die Axt513 den Bäumen1186 an4314 die Wurzel4491 gelegt2749. Darum3767, welcher3956 Baum1186 nicht3361 gute2570 Früchte2590 bringet, wird4160 abgehauen1581 und1161 ins1519 Feuer4442 geworfen906.

11 Ich1473 taufe907 euch5209 mit1722 Wasser5204 zur Buße3341; der2076 aber1161 nach1519 mir3694 kommt2064, ist3303 stärker2478 denn ich3450, dem3739 ich3450 auch nicht3756 genugsam2425 bin1510, seine Schuhe5266 zu1722 tragen941; der wird euch5209 mit dem Heiligen40 Geist4151 und2532 mit Feuer4442 taufen907.

11 I indeed3303 baptize907 you with water5204 to repentance.3341 but he that comes2064 after3694 me is mightier2478 than I, whose3739 shoes5266 I am1510 not worthy2425 to bear:941 he shall baptize907 you with the Holy40 Ghost,4151 and with fire:4442

12 Whose3739 fan4425 is in his hand,5495 and he will thoroughly1245 purge1245 his floor,257 and gather4863 his wheat4621 into1519 the garner;596 but he will burn2618 up the chaff892 with unquenchable762 fire.4442

13 Zu4314 der5259 Zeit5119 kam3854 JEsus2424 aus Galiläa1056 an1909 den Jordan2446 zu Johannes2491, daß er846 sich von575 ihm taufen907 ließe.

13 Then5119 comes3854 Jesus2424 from Galilee1056 to Jordan2446 to John,2491 to be baptized907 of him.

14 Aber1161 Johannes2491 wehrete ihm und2532 sprach3004: Ich1473 bedarf2192 wohl, daß ich von5259 dir4675 getauft werde907, und du4771 kommest zu4314 mir3165?

14 But John2491 forbade1254 him, saying,3004 I have2192 need5532 to be baptized907 of you, and come2064 you to me?

15 JEsus2424 aber1161 antwortete611 und1063 sprach2036 zu4314 ihm846: Laß863 jetzt737 also3779 sein; also2076 gebührt4241 es uns2254, alle3956 Gerechtigkeit1343 zu erfüllen4137. Da5119 ließ863 er846‘s ihm zu.

15 And Jesus2424 answering611 said2036 to him, Suffer863 it to be so now:737 for thus3779 it becomes4241 us to fulfill4137 all3956 righteousness.1343 Then5119 he suffered863 him.

16 Und2532 da JEsus2424 getauft war907, stieg er846 bald2117 herauf aus dem575 Wasser5204; und2532 siehe2400, da tat sich der Himmel3772 auf455 über1909 ihm846. Und2532 Johannes sah1492 den Geist4151 Gottes2316 gleich5616 als eine Taube4058 herabfahren2597 und2532 über ihn kommen305.
