1 When3588 the LORD3068 your God430 shall bring935 you into413 the land776 where834 8033 you go935 to possess3423 it, and has cast5394 out many7227 nations1471 before6440 you, the Hittites,2850 and the Girgashites,1622 and the Amorites,567 and the Canaanites,3669 and the Perizzites,6522 and the Hivites,2340 and the Jebusites,2983 seven7651 nations1471 greater7227 and mightier6099 than you;

2 And when the LORD3068 your God430 shall deliver5414 them before6440 you; you shall smite5221 them, and utterly destroy2763 them; you shall make3772 no3808 covenant1285 with them, nor3808 show mercy2603 to them:

3 Neither3808 shall you make marriages2859 with them; your daughter1323 you shall not give5414 to his son,1121 nor3808 his daughter1323 shall you take3947 to your son.1121

4 For they will turn5493 away your son1121 from following310 me, that they may serve5647 other312 gods:430 so will the anger639 of the LORD3068 be kindled2734 against you, and destroy8045 you suddenly.4118

5 But thus3541 shall you deal6213 with them; you shall destroy5422 their altars,4196 and break7665 down their images,4676 and cut1438 down their groves,842 and burn8313 their graven6456 images with fire.784

6 For you are an holy6918 people5971 to the LORD3068 your God:430 the LORD3068 your God430 has chosen977 you to be a special5459 people5971 to himself, above all3605 people5971 that are on the face6440 of the earth.127

7 The LORD3068 did not set his love2836 on you, nor3808 choose977 you, because you were more7230 in number than any3605 people;5971 for you were the fewest4592 of all3605 people:5971

8 But because3588 the LORD3068 loved160 you, and because he would keep8104 the oath7621 which834 he had sworn7650 to your fathers,1 has the LORD3068 brought3318 you out with a mighty2389 hand,3027 and redeemed6299 you out of the house1004 of slaves,5650 from the hand3027 of Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt.4714

9 Know3045 therefore that the LORD3068 your God,430 he is God,430 the faithful539 God,410 which834 keeps8104 covenant1285 and mercy2617 with them that love157 him and keep8104 his commandments4687 to a thousand505 generations;1755

10 And repays7999 them that hate8130 him to their face,6440 to destroy6 them: he will not be slack309 to him that hates8130 him, he will repay7999 him to his face.6440

11 You shall therefore keep8104 the commandments,4687 and the statutes,2706 and the judgments,4941 which834 I command6680 you this day,3117 to do6213 them.

12 Why it shall come1961 to pass, if6118 you listen8085 to these428 judgments,4941 and keep,8104 and do6213 them, that the LORD3068 your God430 shall keep8104 to you the covenant1285 and the mercy2617 which834 he swore7650 to your fathers:1

13 And he will love157 you, and bless1288 you, and multiply7235 you: he will also bless1288 the fruit6529 of your womb,990 and the fruit6529 of your land,127 your corn,1715 and your wine,8492 and your oil,3323 the increase7698 of your cows,504 and the flocks6251 of your sheep,6629 in the land127 which834 he swore7650 to your fathers1 to give5414 you.

14 You shall be blessed1288 above all3605 people:5971 there shall not be male or female barren6135 among you, or among your cattle.929

15 And the LORD3068 will take5493 away from you all3605 sickness,2483 and will put7760 none3808 of the evil7451 diseases4064 of Egypt,4714 which834 you know,3045 on you; but will lay5414 them on all3605 them that hate8130 you.

16 And you shall consume398 all3605 the people5971 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 shall deliver5414 you; your eye5869 shall have no3808 pity2347 on them: neither3808 shall you serve5647 their gods;430 for that will be a snare4170 to you.

17 If3588 you shall say559 in your heart,3824 These428 nations1471 are more7227 than I; how349 can3201 I dispossess3423 them?

18 You shall not be afraid3372 of them: but shall well remember2142 what853 834 the LORD3068 your God430 did6213 to Pharaoh,6547 and to all3605 Egypt;4714

19 The great1419 temptations4531 which834 your eyes5869 saw,7200 and the signs,226 and the wonders,4159 and the mighty2389 hand,3027 and the stretched5186 out arm,2220 whereby834 the LORD3068 your God430 brought3318 you out: so3651 shall the LORD3068 your God430 do6213 to all3605 the people5971 of whom834 6440 you are afraid.3373

20 Moreover1571 the LORD3068 your God430 will send7971 the hornet6880 among them, until5704 they that are left,7604 and hide5641 themselves from you, be destroyed.6

21 You shall not be affrighted6206 at6440 them: for the LORD3068 your God430 is among7130 you, a mighty1419 God410 and terrible.3372

22 And the LORD3068 your God430 will put5394 out those411 nations1471 before6440 you by little4592 and little:4592 you may3201 not consume3615 them at4118 once,4118 lest6435 the beasts2416 of the field7704 increase7235 on you.

23 But the LORD3068 your God430 shall deliver5414 them to you, and shall destroy2000 them with a mighty1419 destruction,4103 until5704 they be destroyed.8045

24 And he shall deliver5414 their kings4428 into your hand,3027 and you shall destroy6 their name8034 from under8478 heaven:8064 there shall no3808 man375 be able3320 to stand3320 before6440 you, until5704 you have destroyed8045 them.

25 The graven6456 images of their gods430 shall you burn8313 with fire:784 you shall not desire2530 the silver3701 or gold2091 that is on5921 them, nor take3947 it to you, lest6435 you be snared3369 therein: for it is an abomination8441 to the LORD3068 your God.430

26 Neither3808 shall you bring935 an abomination8441 into413 your house,1004 lest you be a cursed2764 thing like3644 it: but you shall utterly detest8262 it, and you shall utterly abhor8581 it; for it is a cursed2764 thing.
