1 Господь сказал Моисею:

2 — Говори с Аароном и скажи ему: «Когда ты будешь устанавливать семь лампад, пусть они освещают место перед светильником».

3 Аарон так и сделал. Он установил лампады так, чтобы они светили перед светильником, как повелел Моисею Господь.

4 Вот как был сделан светильник: его сделали из кованого золота — от основания до цветков. Светильник был сделан по тому образцу, который показал Моисею Господь.

5 Господь сказал Моисею:

6 — Отдели левитов от остальных израильтян и очисти их.

7 Чтобы очистить их, сделай так: окропи их водой очищения, и пусть они обреют все тело и выстирают одежду. Так они очистятся.

8 Пусть они возьмут молодого быка с положенным хлебным приношением из лучшей муки, смешанной с маслом, а ты возьми второго молодого быка для жертвы за грех.

9 Приведи левитов к шатру собрания и собери все общество Израиля.

10 Поставь левитов перед Господом, и пусть израильтяне возложат на них руки.

11 Пусть Аарон посвятит левитов Господу как приношение потрясания, чтобы они могли служить Господу.

12 Когда левиты возложат руки на головы быков, принеси одного быка в жертву Господу за грех, а другого — во всесожжение, чтобы грехи левитов были прощены.

13 Поставь левитов перед Аароном и его сыновьями и посвяти их Господу как приношение потрясания.

14 Так ты отделишь левитов от остальных израильтян, и левиты станут Моими.

15 Когда ты очистишь левитов и посвятишь их как приношение потрясания, пусть они войдут, чтобы служить при шатре собрания.

16 Они — те израильтяне, которых нужно полностью отдать Мне. Я беру их Себе вместо первенцев, первого ребенка мужского пола любой израильтянки.

18 Я взял левитов вместо всех первородных сыновей Израиля.

19 Я предназначил левитов в дар от израильтян Аарону и его сыновьям, чтобы они служили за израильтян при шатре собрания и совершали для них очищение, чтобы никакая напасть не поразила израильтян, если они приблизятся к святилищу.

20 Моисей, Аарон и все общество Израиля поступили с левитами точно так, как повелел Моисею Господь.

21 Левиты очистились и выстирали одежду. Аарон посвятил их Господу как приношение потрясания и совершил для них очищение, чтобы сделать их чистыми.

22 После этого левиты вошли, чтобы служить при шатре собрания под началом Аарона и его сыновей. Они поступили с левитами точно так, как повелел Моисею Господь.

23 Господь сказал Моисею:

24 — Это касается левитов: пусть мужчины двадцати пяти лет и старше принимаются за свои обязанности по службе при шатре собрания,

25 но в пятьдесят лет пусть удаляются от постоянного служения и больше не служат.

26 Они могут помогать своим братьям исполнять их обязанности при шатре собрания, но сами пусть не служат. Так ты обозначишь левитам их обязанности.

Chapter 8

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to Aaron and say to him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the candlestick.

3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the seven lamps thereof in front of the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

4 And the work of the candlestick was of molten gold; from its base to its flower was of cast work; according to the pattern which the LORD had shown to Moses, so he made the candlestick.

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 And thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle purifying water upon them, and let them shave all the body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 Then let them take a young bullock with its meal offering, a dish full of fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bullock shall you offer for a sin offering.

9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together;

10 Then you shall bring the Levites before the LORD; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites;

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the service of the LORD.

12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 And you shall make the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them for an offering to the LORD.

14 Thus shall you separate the Levites from among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine.

15 And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall cleanse them, and offer them for an offering before the LORD.

16 For they are wholly given to me as a gift from among the children of Israel; instead of all that open the womb, even instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.

17 For all the first-born of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast; on the day that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the children of Israel.

19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when they come near to the sanctuary.

20 And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so did the children of Israel to them.

21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them and cleansed them.

22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons; as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did unto them the children of Israel.

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24 This shall be the law for the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation;

25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease from the service and shall serve no more,

26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation to keep guard, and shall do no service. Thus shall you do to the Levites concerning their charge.

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the seven lamps thereof in front of the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

4 Вот как был сделан светильник: его сделали из кованого золота — от основания до цветков. Светильник был сделан по тому образцу, который показал Моисею Господь.

4 And the work of the candlestick was of molten gold; from its base to its flower was of cast work; according to the pattern which the LORD had shown to Moses, so he made the candlestick.

5 Господь сказал Моисею:

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 — Отдели левитов от остальных израильтян и очисти их.

6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 Чтобы очистить их, сделай так: окропи их водой очищения, и пусть они обреют все тело и выстирают одежду. Так они очистятся.

7 And thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle purifying water upon them, and let them shave all the body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 Пусть они возьмут молодого быка с положенным хлебным приношением из лучшей муки, смешанной с маслом, а ты возьми второго молодого быка для жертвы за грех.

8 Then let them take a young bullock with its meal offering, a dish full of fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bullock shall you offer for a sin offering.

9 Приведи левитов к шатру собрания и собери все общество Израиля.

9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together;

10 Поставь левитов перед Господом, и пусть израильтяне возложат на них руки.

10 Then you shall bring the Levites before the LORD; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites;

11 Пусть Аарон посвятит левитов Господу как приношение потрясания, чтобы они могли служить Господу.

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the service of the LORD.

12 Когда левиты возложат руки на головы быков, принеси одного быка в жертву Господу за грех, а другого — во всесожжение, чтобы грехи левитов были прощены.

12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 And you shall make the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them for an offering to the LORD.

16 Они — те израильтяне, которых нужно полностью отдать Мне. Я беру их Себе вместо первенцев, первого ребенка мужского пола любой израильтянки.

16 For they are wholly given to me as a gift from among the children of Israel; instead of all that open the womb, even instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.

17 Все первенцы мужского пола в Израиле — человек или животное — принадлежат Мне. Я отделил их Себе, умертвив всех первенцев в Египте.

17 For all the first-born of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast; on the day that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 Я взял левитов вместо всех первородных сыновей Израиля.

18 And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the children of Israel.

19 Я предназначил левитов в дар от израильтян Аарону и его сыновьям, чтобы они служили за израильтян при шатре собрания и совершали для них очищение, чтобы никакая напасть не поразила израильтян, если они приблизятся к святилищу.

19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when they come near to the sanctuary.

20 Моисей, Аарон и все общество Израиля поступили с левитами точно так, как повелел Моисею Господь.

20 And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so did the children of Israel to them.

21 Левиты очистились и выстирали одежду. Аарон посвятил их Господу как приношение потрясания и совершил для них очищение, чтобы сделать их чистыми.

21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them and cleansed them.

22 После этого левиты вошли, чтобы служить при шатре собрания под началом Аарона и его сыновей. Они поступили с левитами точно так, как повелел Моисею Господь.

22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons; as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did unto them the children of Israel.

23 Господь сказал Моисею:

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24 — Это касается левитов: пусть мужчины двадцати пяти лет и старше принимаются за свои обязанности по службе при шатре собрания,

24 This shall be the law for the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation;

25 но в пятьдесят лет пусть удаляются от постоянного служения и больше не служат.

25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease from the service and shall serve no more,
