Глава 22

1 Три года арамеи и израильтяне не воевали друг с другом.

2 На третий год Иосафат, царь иудейский, отправился к царю израильскому.

3 Царь израильский сказал тогда своим слугам: «Знаете ли вы, что Рамот в Гиладе — наш? А мы ничего не делаем, чтобы отобрать его у царя арамейского».

4 И спросил он Иосафата: «Пойдешь ли ты со мной на Рамот Гиладский?» Иосафат ответил царю израильскому: «Куда ты — туда и я, куда твой народ — туда и мой, куда твои кони — туда и мои».

5 Но Иосафат сказал царю израильскому: «Прежде всего вопроси ГОСПОДА».

6 Собрал царь израильский четырехсот пророков и спросил их: «Выступать ли мне в поход на Рамот Гиладский или не делать этого?» Они отвечали: «Выступай, Владыка предаст его в руки царя».

7 Но Иосафат спросил: «Нет ли здесь еще пророка ГОСПОДНЕГО? Мы вопросим Господа через него».

8 Отвечал царь израильский Иосафату: «Есть еще один, он также может вопросить ГОСПОДА, — только мне он не по нраву: не пророчествует он обо мне доброго, а только дурное. Это Михей, сын Имлы». На это Иосафат возразил: «Не подобает царю говорить такое!»

9 Тогда царь израильский подозвал одного царедворца и велел ему скорее привести Михея, сына Имлы.

10 Царь израильский и Иосафат, царь иудейский, сидели каждый на своем престоле возле гумна у ворот Самарии, одетые в свои царские облачения, а все пророки пророчествовали перед ними.

11 Цидкия, сын Кенааны, надел себе на голову железные рога и говорил: «Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Этими рогами ты будешь сражаться с арамеями, пока не уничтожишь их!“»

12 И все пророки повторяли то же самое: «Выступай на Рамот Гиладский, и будет у тебя победа! Предаст его ГОСПОДЬ в руки царя!»

13 Гонец, которому велели привести Михея, сказал ему: «Пророки единодушны в добрых предзнаменованиях царю. Хоть бы и ты выступил с ними заодно, чтобы и твое слово оказалось добрым!»

14 Михей ответил: «Жив ГОСПОДЬ — что откроет мне ГОСПОДЬ мой, то я и стану говорить».

15 Пришел Михей к царю, и тот спросил его: «Михей, идти ли мне войной на Рамот Гиладский или не идти?» Михей ответил: «Идите, будет у вас победа! Враги будут отданы в руки царя!»

16 Царь сказал ему: «Сколько раз заставлять тебя клясться, чтобы ты говорил мне только правду во имя ГОСПОДА?»

17 Тогда Михей сказал: «Видел я всех израильтян рассеянными по горам, словно овцы, что остались без пастыря. И сказал ГОСПОДЬ: лишились они своего предводителя, отпусти их по домам с миром».

18 Царь израильский сказал Иосафату: «Говорил я тебе, что не пророчествует он обо мне доброго, а только дурное».

19 А Михей продолжал: «Выслушай слово ГОСПОДНЕ! Я видел ГОСПОДА, сидящего на престоле, и стояло пред Ним всё Воинство небесное по правую и по левую руку.

20 Спросил их ГОСПОДЬ: „Кто введет в заблуждение Ахава, чтобы он выступил на Рамот Гиладский и погиб там?“ И один из стоявших пред Ним отвечал Ему так, а другой иначе,

21 и тогда вышел вперед один из духов, встал пред ГОСПОДОМ и сказал: „Я введу его в заблуждение“. Спросил его ГОСПОДЬ: „Как?“

22 Тот ответил: „Я отправлюсь к нему и стану ложным духом в устах всех его пророков“. И тогда ГОСПОДЬ сказал: „Да, ты сможешь ввести его в заблуждение. Иди, так и сделай!“

23 Теперь посмотри вокруг, Сам ГОСПОДЬ вложил ложный дух в уста всех твоих пророков. Беду предрекает тебе ГОСПОДЬ!»

24 Тогда подошел Седекия, сын Кенааны, и ударил Михея по щеке со словами: «Разве Дух ГОСПОДЕНЬ меня уже оставил, чтобы с тобой говорить?»

25 Михей ответил: «Поймешь тогда, когда будешь искать укромное место, чтобы спрятаться».

26 Сказал тогда царь израильский: «Возьмите Михея и отведите к градоначальнику Амону и к царскому сыну Иоасу.

27 Передайте им, что царь велит держать его под стражей и посадить на хлеб и воду, пока я не вернусь с миром».

28 Михей ответил: «Если ты и вправду вернешься с миром, то не ГОСПОДЬ говорил через меня». И добавил: «Попомните мои слова, народы!»

29 Царь израильский и Иосафат, царь иудейский, выступили в поход на Рамот Гиладский.

30 Царь израильский сказал Иосафату: «Я выйду на бой под видом простого воина, а ты будь в своих царских облачениях». И царь израильский переоделся перед сражением.

31 А царь арамейский велел своим тридцати двум начальникам колесничного войска: «Не ищите боя ни с малым, ни с великим, а только с одним царем израильским».

32 И когда начальники колесничного войска увидели Иосафата, то решили, что он и есть царь израильский, и устремились к нему, чтобы схватить его. Иосафат закричал,

33 и начальники колесниц увидели, что это не израильский царь, и повернули прочь.

34 Но один из воинов выстрелил из лука и, сам того не ведая, ранил царя израильского стрелой, попавшей между доспехами. Царь сказал своему вознице: «Поверни колесницу, вывези меня из боя — я ранен».

35 Но жаркая была в тот день битва, и держали царя израильского весь день в колеснице, подпирая его, напротив арамейского войска, — и к вечеру он умер. А кровь из его раны залила днище колесницы.

36 Когда зашло солнце, пронесся клич по всему войску: «Идите все по своим городам, по своим землям!»

37 Мертвого царя отвезли в Самарию и похоронили там.

38 А колесницу вымыли в пруду около Самарии, и псы слизывали его кровь, и блудницы там мылись, по слову ГОСПОДА, которое Он изрек.

39 Прочее об Ахаве и обо всех событиях его жизни: и о строительстве дворца из слоновой кости, и обо всех городах, что он строил, — записано в летописи царей израильских.

40 Ахав отошел к праотцам, а после него воцарился его сын Охозия.

41 Иосафат, сын Асы, воцарился в Иудее в четвертый год царствования Ахава в Израиле.

42 Иосафат взошел на престол в возрасте тридцати пяти лет и двадцать пять лет правил в Иерусалиме. Его мать звали Азува, она была дочерью Шилхи.

43 Он следовал по пути отца своего Асы и не отступал от него, творя то, что праведно в глазах ГОСПОДА. Только капища на холмах разрушены не были, и народ еще приносил жертвы и воскурял в этих капищах.

44 Иосафат заключил мир с царем израильским.

45 Что до прочих деяний Иосафата, его доблестных подвигов и военных походов, то не описаны ли они в летописи царей иудейских?

46 Тех немногих из продающих тело свое в капищах, кто уцелел при жизни отца его Асы, он уничтожил.

47 В Эдоме тогда не было царя, там правил царский наместник.

48 Иосафат построил прочные корабли, чтобы ходить в Офир за золотом, но они не дошли туда, а разбились в Эцьон-Гевере.

49 Тогда Охозия, сын Ахава, предложил Иосафату: «Пусть мои слуги отправятся на кораблях вместе с твоими», — но Иосафат не захотел.

50 Иосафат отошел к праотцам и был похоронен в родовой гробнице в Городе Давидовом. После него взошел на престол его сын Иорам.

52 творил он то, что было злом в глазах ГОСПОДА, и следовал по пути отца своего и матери и по пути Иеровоама, сына Невата, вовлекая Израиль во грех.

3 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 his servants,5650 Know3045 ye that3588 Ramoth in Gilead7433 is ours, and we587 be still,2814 and take4480 3947 it not out of the hand4480 3027 of the king4428 of Syria?758

4 And he said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 Wilt thou go1980 with854 me to battle4421 to Ramoth-gilead?7433 And Jehoshaphat3092 said559 to413 the king4428 of Israel,3478 I am as thou art, my people5971 as thy people,5971 my horses5483 as thy horses.5483

5 And Jehoshaphat3092 said559 unto413 the king4428 of Israel,3478 Inquire,1875 I pray thee,4994 at853 the word1697 of the LORD3068 today.3117

6 Then the king4428 of Israel3478 gathered the prophets together,6908 853 5030 about four702 hundred3967 men,376 and said559 unto413 them, Shall I go1980 against5921 Ramoth-gilead7433 to battle,4421 or518 shall I forbear?2308 And they said,559 Go up;5927 for the Lord136 shall deliver5414 it into the hand3027 of the king.4428

7 And Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 Is there not369 here6311 a prophet5030 of the LORD3068 besides,5750 that we might inquire1875 of4480 854 him?

8 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 There is yet5750 one259 man,376 Micaiah4321 the son1121 of Imlah,3229 by4480 854 whom we may inquire1875 of853 the LORD:3068 but I589 hate8130 him; for3588 he doth not3808 prophesy5012 good2896 concerning5921 me, but3588 518 evil.7451 And Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 Let not408 the king4428 say559 so.3651

9 Then the king4428 of Israel3478 called7121 413 an259 officer,5631 and said,559 Hasten4116 hither Micaiah4321 the son1121 of Imlah.3229

10 And the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 sat3427 each376 on5921 his throne,3678 having put on3847 their robes,899 in a void place1637 in the entrance6607 of the gate8179 of Samaria;8111 and all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 before6440 them.

11 And Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 made6213 him horns7161 of iron:1270 and he said,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 With these428 shalt thou push5055 853 the Syrians,758 until5704 thou have consumed3615 them.

12 And all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 so,3651 saying,559 Go up5927 to Ramoth-gilead,7433 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414 it into the king's4428 hand.3027

13 And the messenger4397 that834 was gone1980 to call7121 Micaiah4321 spoke1696 unto413 him, saying,559 Behold2009 now,4994 the words1697 of the prophets5030 declare good2896 unto413 the king4428 with one259 mouth:6310 let thy word,1697 I pray thee,4994 be1961 like the word1697 of one259 of them,4480 and speak1696 that which is good.2896

14 And Micaiah4321 said,559 As the LORD3068 liveth,2416 what834 the LORD3068 saith559 unto413 me, that will I speak.1696

15 So he came935 to413 the king.4428 And the king4428 said559 unto413 him, Micaiah,4321 shall we go1980 against413 Ramoth-gilead7433 to battle,4421 or518 shall we forbear?2308 And he answered559 413 him, Go,5927 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414 it into the hand3027 of the king.4428

16 And the king4428 said559 unto413 him, How5704 many4100 times6471 shall I589 adjure7650 thee that834 thou tell1696 413 me nothing3808 but7535 that which is true571 in the name8034 of the LORD?3068

17 And he said,559 I saw7200 853 all3605 Israel3478 scattered6327 upon413 the hills,2022 as sheep6629 that834 have not369 a shepherd:7462 and the LORD3068 said,559 These428 have no3808 master:113 let them return7725 every man376 to his house1004 in peace.7965

18 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 Did I not3808 tell559 413 thee that he would prophesy5012 no3808 good2896 concerning5921 me, but3588 518 evil?7451

19 And he said,559 Hear8085 thou therefore3651 the word1697 of the LORD:3068 I saw7200 853 the LORD3068 sitting3427 on5921 his throne,3678 and all3605 the host6635 of heaven8064 standing5975 by5921 him on his right hand4480 3225 and on his left.4480 8040

20 And the LORD3068 said,559 Who4310 shall persuade6601 853 Ahab,256 that he may go up5927 and fall5307 at Ramoth-gilead?7433 And one2088 said559 on this manner,3541 and another2088 said559 on that manner.3541

21 And there came forth3318 a spirit,7307 and stood5975 before6440 the LORD,3068 and said,559 I589 will persuade6601 him.

22 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, Wherewith?4100 And he said,559 I will go forth,3318 and I will be1961 a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of all3605 his prophets.5030 And he said,559 Thou shalt persuade6601 him, and prevail3201 also:1571 go forth,3318 and do6213 so.3651

23 Now6258 therefore, behold,2009 the LORD3068 hath put5414 a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of all3605 these428 thy prophets,5030 and the LORD3068 hath spoken1696 evil7451 concerning5921 thee.

24 But Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 went near,5066 and smote5221 853 Micaiah4321 on5921 the cheek,3895 and said,559 Which335 way2088 went5674 the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 from4480 854 me to speak1696 unto854 thee?

25 And Micaiah4321 said,559 Behold,2009 thou shalt see7200 in that1931 day,3117 when834 thou shalt go into935 an inner2315 chamber2315 to hide thyself.2247

26 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said,559 Take3947 853 Micaiah,4321 and carry him back7725 unto413 Amon526 the governor8269 of the city,5892 and to413 Joash3101 the king's4428 son;1121

27 And say,559 Thus3541 saith559 the king,4428 Put7760 853 this2088 fellow in the prison,1004 3608 and feed398 him with bread3899 of affliction3906 and with water4325 of affliction,3906 until5704 I come935 in peace.7965

28 And Micaiah4321 said,559 If518 thou return at all7725 7725 in peace,7965 the LORD3068 hath not3808 spoken1696 by me. And he said,559 Hearken,8085 O people,5971 every3605 one of you.

29 So the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 went up5927 to Ramoth-gilead.7433

30 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 I will disguise myself,2664 and enter935 into the battle;4421 but put3847 thou859 on thy robes.899 And the king4428 of Israel3478 disguised himself,2664 and went935 into the battle.4421

31 But the king4428 of Syria758 commanded6680 853 his834 thirty7970 and two8147 captains that had rule over8269 his834 chariots,7393 saying,559 Fight3898 neither3808 with854 small6996 nor great,1419 save3588 518 only905 with854 the king4428 of Israel.3478

32 And it came to pass,1961 when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 saw7200 853 Jehoshaphat,3092 that they1992 said,559 Surely389 it1931 is the king4428 of Israel.3478 And they turned aside5493 to fight3898 against5921 him: and Jehoshaphat3092 cried out.2199

33 And it came to pass,1961 when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 perceived7200 that3588 it1931 was not3808 the king4428 of Israel,3478 that they turned back7725 from pursuing4480 310 him.

34 And a certain man376 drew4900 a bow7198 at a venture,8537 and smote5221 853 the king4428 of Israel3478 between996 the joints1694 of the harness:8302 wherefore he said559 unto the driver of his chariot,7395 Turn2015 thine hand,3027 and carry me out3318 of4480 the host;4264 for3588 I am wounded.2470

35 And the battle4421 increased5927 that1931 day:3117 and the king4428 was1961 stayed up5975 in his chariot4818 against5227 the Syrians,758 and died4191 at even:6153 and the blood1818 ran out3332 of the wound4347 into413 the midst2436 of the chariot.7393

36 And there went5674 a proclamation7440 throughout the host4264 about the going down935 of the sun,8121 saying,559 Every man376 to413 his city,5892 and every man376 to413 his own country.776

37 So the king4428 died,4191 and was brought935 to Samaria;8111 and they buried6912 853 the king4428 in Samaria.8111

38 And one washed7857 853 the chariot7393 in5921 the pool1295 of Samaria;8111 and the dogs3611 licked up3952 853 his blood;1818 and they washed7364 his armor;2185 according unto the word1697 of the LORD3068 which834 he spoke.1696

39 Now the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Ahab,256 and all3605 that834 he did,6213 and the ivory8127 house1004 which834 he made,1129 and all3605 the cities5892 that834 he built,1129 are they1992 not3808 written3789 in5921 the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of Israel?3478

40 So Ahab256 slept7901 with5973 his fathers;1 and Ahaziah274 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.8478

41 And Jehoshaphat3092 the son1121 of Asa609 began to reign4427 over5921 Judah3063 in the fourth702 year8141 of Ahab256 king4428 of Israel.3478

42 Jehoshaphat3092 was thirty7970 and five2568 years8141 old1121 when he began to reign;4427 and he reigned4427 twenty6242 and five2568 years8141 in Jerusalem.3389 And his mother's517 name8034 was Azubah5806 the daughter1323 of Shilhi.7977

43 And he walked1980 in all3605 the ways1870 of Asa609 his father;1 he turned not aside3808 5493 from4480 it, doing6213 that which was right3477 in the eyes5869 of the LORD:3068 nevertheless389 the high places1116 were not3808 taken away;5493 for the people5971 offered2076 and burnt incense6999 yet5750 in the high places.1116

44 And Jehoshaphat3092 made peace7999 with5973 the king4428 of Israel.3478

45 Now the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Jehoshaphat,3092 and his might1369 that834 he showed,6213 and how834 he warred,3898 are they1992 not3808 written3789 in5921 the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of Judah?3063

46 And the remnant3499 of the sodomites,6945 which834 remained7604 in the days3117 of his father1 Asa,609 he took1197 out of4480 the land.776

47 There was then no369 king4428 in Edom:123 a deputy5324 was king.4428

48 Jehoshaphat3092 made6213 ships591 of Tharshish8659 to go1980 to Ophir211 for gold:2091 but they went1980 not;3808 for3588 the ships591 were broken7665 at Ezion-geber.6100

49 Then227 said559 Ahaziah274 the son1121 of Ahab256 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 Let my servants5650 go1980 with5973 thy servants5650 in the ships.591 But Jehoshaphat3092 would14 not.3808

50 And Jehoshaphat3092 slept7901 with5973 his fathers,1 and was buried6912 with5973 his fathers1 in the city5892 of David1732 his father:1 and Jehoram3088 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.8478

51 Ahaziah274 the son1121 of Ahab256 began to reign4427 over5921 Israel3478 in Samaria8111 the seventeenth7651 6240 year8141 of Jehoshaphat3092 king4428 of Judah,3063 and reigned4427 two years8141 over5921 Israel.3478

52 And he did6213 evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 and walked1980 in the way1870 of his father,1 and in the way1870 of his mother,517 and in the way1870 of Jeroboam3379 the son1121 of Nebat,5028 who834 made Israel to sin:2398 853 3478

53 For he served5647 853 Baal,1168 and worshiped7812 him, and provoked to anger3707 853 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 according to all3605 that834 his father1 had done.6213

10 And the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 sat3427 each376 on5921 his throne,3678 having put on3847 their robes,899 in a void place1637 in the entrance6607 of the gate8179 of Samaria;8111 and all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 before6440 them.

11 Цидкия, сын Кенааны, надел себе на голову железные рога и говорил: «Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Этими рогами ты будешь сражаться с арамеями, пока не уничтожишь их!“»

11 And Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 made6213 him horns7161 of iron:1270 and he said,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 With these428 shalt thou push5055 853 the Syrians,758 until5704 thou have consumed3615 them.

12 И все пророки повторяли то же самое: «Выступай на Рамот Гиладский, и будет у тебя победа! Предаст его ГОСПОДЬ в руки царя!»

12 And all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 so,3651 saying,559 Go up5927 to Ramoth-gilead,7433 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414 it into the king's4428 hand.3027

13 Гонец, которому велели привести Михея, сказал ему: «Пророки единодушны в добрых предзнаменованиях царю. Хоть бы и ты выступил с ними заодно, чтобы и твое слово оказалось добрым!»

13 And the messenger4397 that834 was gone1980 to call7121 Micaiah4321 spoke1696 unto413 him, saying,559 Behold2009 now,4994 the words1697 of the prophets5030 declare good2896 unto413 the king4428 with one259 mouth:6310 let thy word,1697 I pray thee,4994 be1961 like the word1697 of one259 of them,4480 and speak1696 that which is good.2896

14 Михей ответил: «Жив ГОСПОДЬ — что откроет мне ГОСПОДЬ мой, то я и стану говорить».

14 And Micaiah4321 said,559 As the LORD3068 liveth,2416 what834 the LORD3068 saith559 unto413 me, that will I speak.1696

15 Пришел Михей к царю, и тот спросил его: «Михей, идти ли мне войной на Рамот Гиладский или не идти?» Михей ответил: «Идите, будет у вас победа! Враги будут отданы в руки царя!»

15 So he came935 to413 the king.4428 And the king4428 said559 unto413 him, Micaiah,4321 shall we go1980 against413 Ramoth-gilead7433 to battle,4421 or518 shall we forbear?2308 And he answered559 413 him, Go,5927 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414 it into the hand3027 of the king.4428

16 Царь сказал ему: «Сколько раз заставлять тебя клясться, чтобы ты говорил мне только правду во имя ГОСПОДА?»

16 And the king4428 said559 unto413 him, How5704 many4100 times6471 shall I589 adjure7650 thee that834 thou tell1696 413 me nothing3808 but7535 that which is true571 in the name8034 of the LORD?3068

17 Тогда Михей сказал: «Видел я всех израильтян рассеянными по горам, словно овцы, что остались без пастыря. И сказал ГОСПОДЬ: лишились они своего предводителя, отпусти их по домам с миром».

17 And he said,559 I saw7200 853 all3605 Israel3478 scattered6327 upon413 the hills,2022 as sheep6629 that834 have not369 a shepherd:7462 and the LORD3068 said,559 These428 have no3808 master:113 let them return7725 every man376 to his house1004 in peace.7965

18 Царь израильский сказал Иосафату: «Говорил я тебе, что не пророчествует он обо мне доброго, а только дурное».

18 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 Did I not3808 tell559 413 thee that he would prophesy5012 no3808 good2896 concerning5921 me, but3588 518 evil?7451

19 А Михей продолжал: «Выслушай слово ГОСПОДНЕ! Я видел ГОСПОДА, сидящего на престоле, и стояло пред Ним всё Воинство небесное по правую и по левую руку.

19 And he said,559 Hear8085 thou therefore3651 the word1697 of the LORD:3068 I saw7200 853 the LORD3068 sitting3427 on5921 his throne,3678 and all3605 the host6635 of heaven8064 standing5975 by5921 him on his right hand4480 3225 and on his left.4480 8040

20 Спросил их ГОСПОДЬ: „Кто введет в заблуждение Ахава, чтобы он выступил на Рамот Гиладский и погиб там?“ И один из стоявших пред Ним отвечал Ему так, а другой иначе,

20 And the LORD3068 said,559 Who4310 shall persuade6601 853 Ahab,256 that he may go up5927 and fall5307 at Ramoth-gilead?7433 And one2088 said559 on this manner,3541 and another2088 said559 on that manner.3541

21 и тогда вышел вперед один из духов, встал пред ГОСПОДОМ и сказал: „Я введу его в заблуждение“. Спросил его ГОСПОДЬ: „Как?“

21 And there came forth3318 a spirit,7307 and stood5975 before6440 the LORD,3068 and said,559 I589 will persuade6601 him.

22 Тот ответил: „Я отправлюсь к нему и стану ложным духом в устах всех его пророков“. И тогда ГОСПОДЬ сказал: „Да, ты сможешь ввести его в заблуждение. Иди, так и сделай!“

22 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, Wherewith?4100 And he said,559 I will go forth,3318 and I will be1961 a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of all3605 his prophets.5030 And he said,559 Thou shalt persuade6601 him, and prevail3201 also:1571 go forth,3318 and do6213 so.3651

23 Теперь посмотри вокруг, Сам ГОСПОДЬ вложил ложный дух в уста всех твоих пророков. Беду предрекает тебе ГОСПОДЬ!»

23 Now6258 therefore, behold,2009 the LORD3068 hath put5414 a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of all3605 these428 thy prophets,5030 and the LORD3068 hath spoken1696 evil7451 concerning5921 thee.

24 Тогда подошел Седекия, сын Кенааны, и ударил Михея по щеке со словами: «Разве Дух ГОСПОДЕНЬ меня уже оставил, чтобы с тобой говорить?»

24 But Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 went near,5066 and smote5221 853 Micaiah4321 on5921 the cheek,3895 and said,559 Which335 way2088 went5674 the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 from4480 854 me to speak1696 unto854 thee?

25 Михей ответил: «Поймешь тогда, когда будешь искать укромное место, чтобы спрятаться».

25 And Micaiah4321 said,559 Behold,2009 thou shalt see7200 in that1931 day,3117 when834 thou shalt go into935 an inner2315 chamber2315 to hide thyself.2247

26 Сказал тогда царь израильский: «Возьмите Михея и отведите к градоначальнику Амону и к царскому сыну Иоасу.

26 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said,559 Take3947 853 Micaiah,4321 and carry him back7725 unto413 Amon526 the governor8269 of the city,5892 and to413 Joash3101 the king's4428 son;1121

27 Передайте им, что царь велит держать его под стражей и посадить на хлеб и воду, пока я не вернусь с миром».

27 And say,559 Thus3541 saith559 the king,4428 Put7760 853 this2088 fellow in the prison,1004 3608 and feed398 him with bread3899 of affliction3906 and with water4325 of affliction,3906 until5704 I come935 in peace.7965

28 Михей ответил: «Если ты и вправду вернешься с миром, то не ГОСПОДЬ говорил через меня». И добавил: «Попомните мои слова, народы!»

28 And Micaiah4321 said,559 If518 thou return at all7725 7725 in peace,7965 the LORD3068 hath not3808 spoken1696 by me. And he said,559 Hearken,8085 O people,5971 every3605 one of you.

29 Царь израильский и Иосафат, царь иудейский, выступили в поход на Рамот Гиладский.

29 So the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 went up5927 to Ramoth-gilead.7433

30 Царь израильский сказал Иосафату: «Я выйду на бой под видом простого воина, а ты будь в своих царских облачениях». И царь израильский переоделся перед сражением.

30 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 I will disguise myself,2664 and enter935 into the battle;4421 but put3847 thou859 on thy robes.899 And the king4428 of Israel3478 disguised himself,2664 and went935 into the battle.4421

31 А царь арамейский велел своим тридцати двум начальникам колесничного войска: «Не ищите боя ни с малым, ни с великим, а только с одним царем израильским».

31 But the king4428 of Syria758 commanded6680 853 his834 thirty7970 and two8147 captains that had rule over8269 his834 chariots,7393 saying,559 Fight3898 neither3808 with854 small6996 nor great,1419 save3588 518 only905 with854 the king4428 of Israel.3478

32 И когда начальники колесничного войска увидели Иосафата, то решили, что он и есть царь израильский, и устремились к нему, чтобы схватить его. Иосафат закричал,

32 And it came to pass,1961 when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 saw7200 853 Jehoshaphat,3092 that they1992 said,559 Surely389 it1931 is the king4428 of Israel.3478 And they turned aside5493 to fight3898 against5921 him: and Jehoshaphat3092 cried out.2199

33 и начальники колесниц увидели, что это не израильский царь, и повернули прочь.

33 And it came to pass,1961 when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 perceived7200 that3588 it1931 was not3808 the king4428 of Israel,3478 that they turned back7725 from pursuing4480 310 him.

34 Но один из воинов выстрелил из лука и, сам того не ведая, ранил царя израильского стрелой, попавшей между доспехами. Царь сказал своему вознице: «Поверни колесницу, вывези меня из боя — я ранен».

34 And a certain man376 drew4900 a bow7198 at a venture,8537 and smote5221 853 the king4428 of Israel3478 between996 the joints1694 of the harness:8302 wherefore he said559 unto the driver of his chariot,7395 Turn2015 thine hand,3027 and carry me out3318 of4480 the host;4264 for3588 I am wounded.2470

35 Но жаркая была в тот день битва, и держали царя израильского весь день в колеснице, подпирая его, напротив арамейского войска, — и к вечеру он умер. А кровь из его раны залила днище колесницы.

35 And the battle4421 increased5927 that1931 day:3117 and the king4428 was1961 stayed up5975 in his chariot4818 against5227 the Syrians,758 and died4191 at even:6153 and the blood1818 ran out3332 of the wound4347 into413 the midst2436 of the chariot.7393

36 Когда зашло солнце, пронесся клич по всему войску: «Идите все по своим городам, по своим землям!»

36 And there went5674 a proclamation7440 throughout the host4264 about the going down935 of the sun,8121 saying,559 Every man376 to413 his city,5892 and every man376 to413 his own country.776

37 Мертвого царя отвезли в Самарию и похоронили там.

37 So the king4428 died,4191 and was brought935 to Samaria;8111 and they buried6912 853 the king4428 in Samaria.8111

38 А колесницу вымыли в пруду около Самарии, и псы слизывали его кровь, и блудницы там мылись, по слову ГОСПОДА, которое Он изрек.

38 And one washed7857 853 the chariot7393 in5921 the pool1295 of Samaria;8111 and the dogs3611 licked up3952 853 his blood;1818 and they washed7364 his armor;2185 according unto the word1697 of the LORD3068 which834 he spoke.1696

39 Прочее об Ахаве и обо всех событиях его жизни: и о строительстве дворца из слоновой кости, и обо всех городах, что он строил, — записано в летописи царей израильских.

39 Now the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Ahab,256 and all3605 that834 he did,6213 and the ivory8127 house1004 which834 he made,1129 and all3605 the cities5892 that834 he built,1129 are they1992 not3808 written3789 in5921 the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of Israel?3478

40 Ахав отошел к праотцам, а после него воцарился его сын Охозия.

40 So Ahab256 slept7901 with5973 his fathers;1 and Ahaziah274 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.8478

41 Иосафат, сын Асы, воцарился в Иудее в четвертый год царствования Ахава в Израиле.

41 And Jehoshaphat3092 the son1121 of Asa609 began to reign4427 over5921 Judah3063 in the fourth702 year8141 of Ahab256 king4428 of Israel.3478

42 Иосафат взошел на престол в возрасте тридцати пяти лет и двадцать пять лет правил в Иерусалиме. Его мать звали Азува, она была дочерью Шилхи.

43 Он следовал по пути отца своего Асы и не отступал от него, творя то, что праведно в глазах ГОСПОДА. Только капища на холмах разрушены не были, и народ еще приносил жертвы и воскурял в этих капищах.

43 And he walked1980 in all3605 the ways1870 of Asa609 his father;1 he turned not aside3808 5493 from4480 it, doing6213 that which was right3477 in the eyes5869 of the LORD:3068 nevertheless389 the high places1116 were not3808 taken away;5493 for the people5971 offered2076 and burnt incense6999 yet5750 in the high places.1116

44 Иосафат заключил мир с царем израильским.

44 And Jehoshaphat3092 made peace7999 with5973 the king4428 of Israel.3478

45 Что до прочих деяний Иосафата, его доблестных подвигов и военных походов, то не описаны ли они в летописи царей иудейских?

45 Now the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Jehoshaphat,3092 and his might1369 that834 he showed,6213 and how834 he warred,3898 are they1992 not3808 written3789 in5921 the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of Judah?3063

46 Тех немногих из продающих тело свое в капищах, кто уцелел при жизни отца его Асы, он уничтожил.

46 And the remnant3499 of the sodomites,6945 which834 remained7604 in the days3117 of his father1 Asa,609 he took1197 out of4480 the land.776

47 В Эдоме тогда не было царя, там правил царский наместник.

47 There was then no369 king4428 in Edom:123 a deputy5324 was king.4428

48 Иосафат построил прочные корабли, чтобы ходить в Офир за золотом, но они не дошли туда, а разбились в Эцьон-Гевере.

49 Тогда Охозия, сын Ахава, предложил Иосафату: «Пусть мои слуги отправятся на кораблях вместе с твоими», — но Иосафат не захотел.

50 Иосафат отошел к праотцам и был похоронен в родовой гробнице в Городе Давидовом. После него взошел на престол его сын Иорам.

50 And Jehoshaphat3092 slept7901 with5973 his fathers,1 and was buried6912 with5973 his fathers1 in the city5892 of David1732 his father:1 and Jehoram3088 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.8478

51 Охозия, сын Ахава, воцарился над Израилем в Самарии в семнадцатый год царствования Иосафата в Иудее. Он правил в Израиле два года,

51 Ahaziah274 the son1121 of Ahab256 began to reign4427 over5921 Israel3478 in Samaria8111 the seventeenth7651 6240 year8141 of Jehoshaphat3092 king4428 of Judah,3063 and reigned4427 two years8141 over5921 Israel.3478

52 творил он то, что было злом в глазах ГОСПОДА, и следовал по пути отца своего и матери и по пути Иеровоама, сына Невата, вовлекая Израиль во грех.

52 And he did6213 evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 and walked1980 in the way1870 of his father,1 and in the way1870 of his mother,517 and in the way1870 of Jeroboam3379 the son1121 of Nebat,5028 who834 made Israel to sin:2398 853 3478

53 Он служил Ваалу и поклонялся ему, вызывая гнев ГОСПОДА, Бога Израилева, поступая так же, как и его отец Ахав.

53 For he served5647 853 Baal,1168 and worshiped7812 him, and provoked to anger3707 853 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 according to all3605 that834 his father1 had done.6213
