2 Und376 es versammelten sich zu ihm allerlei Männer, die in Not4689 und3967 Schuld und376 betrübtes Herzens5315 waren6908; und er376 war ihr Oberster8269, daß bei vierhundert702 Mann376 bei ihm waren.

2 And every3605 one376 that was in distress,4689 and every3605 one376 that was in debt,5378 and every3605 one376 that was discontented,4751 5315 gathered6908 themselves to him; and he became1961 a captain8269 over5921 them: and there were with him about four702 hundred3967 men.376

3 Und David1732 ging von dannen gen Mizpe4708, in der Moabiter4124 Land, und sprach559 zu der Moabiter4124 König4428: Laß meinen Vater1 und meine Mutter517 bei euch aus3318 und ein gehen3212, bis ich erfahre, was GOtt430 mit mir tun6213 wird3045.

3 And David1732 went3212 there8033 to Mizpeh4708 of Moab:4124 and he said559 to the king4428 of Moab,4124 Let my father1 and my mother,517 I pray4994 you, come3318 forth,3318 and be with you, till5704 I know3045 what4100 God430 will do6213 for me.

4 Und er ließ5148 sie vor6440 dem Könige4428 der Moabiter4124, daß sie bei ihm blieben, solange3117 David1732 in der Burg4686 war3427.

4 And he brought5148 them before854 6440 the king4428 of Moab:4124 and they dwelled3427 with him all3605 the while3117 that David1732 was in the hold.4686

5 Aber der Prophet5030 Gad1410 sprach559 zu David1732: Bleibe3427 nicht in der Burg4686, sondern gehe3212 hin3212 und komm ins Land776 Juda3063. Da ging935 David1732 hin und kam935 in den Wald3293 Hareth.

5 And the prophet5030 Gad1410 said559 to David,1732 Abide3427 not in the hold;4686 depart,3212 and get935 you into the land776 of Judah.3063 Then David1732 departed,3212 and came935 into the forest3293 of Hareth.2802

6 Und es kam vor Saul7586, daß David1732 und die3427 Männer582, die bei ihm waren3045, wären hervorkommen. Als nun Saul7586 wohnete zu8085 Gibea1390 unter einem Hain, in Rama7414, hatte er5324 seinen Spieß2595 in der Hand3027 und alle seine Knechte5650 stunden neben ihm.

6 When Saul7586 heard8085 that David1732 was discovered,3045 and the men582 that were with him, (now Saul7586 stayed3427 in Gibeah1390 under8478 a tree815 in Ramah,7414 having his spear2595 in his hand,3027 and all3605 his servants5650 were standing5324 about5921 him;)

7 Da sprach559 Saul7586 zu8085 seinen Knechten5650, die neben ihm stunden: Höret, ihr Kinder1121 Jeminis, wird auch der Sohn Isais3448 euch alle Äcker7704 und5324 Weinberge3754 geben5414 und euch alle über8269 tausend505 und über hundert3967 zu Obersten8269 machen7760,

7 Then Saul7586 said559 to his servants5650 that stood5324 about5921 him, Hear8085 now,4994 you Benjamites;1145 will the son1121 of Jesse3448 give5414 every3605 one of you fields7704 and vineyards,3754 and make7760 you all3605 captains8269 of thousands,505 and captains8269 of hundreds;3967

8 daß ihr euch alle verbunden habt wider mich1540, und ist6965 niemand, der es meinen Ohren241 offenbarete, weil auch mein Sohn1121 einen Bund gemacht7194 hat1540 mit dem Sohne Isais3448? Ist niemand unter euch, den es kränke2470 meinethalben und meinen Ohren241 offenbare? Denn mein Sohn hat3772 meinen Knecht5650 wider mich auferwecket, daß er mir nachstellet, wie es am Tage3117 ist.

8 That all3605 of you have conspired7194 against5921 me, and there is none that shows1540 241 me that my son1121 has made3772 a league3772 with the son1121 of Jesse,3448 and there is none369 of you that is sorry2470 for me, or shows1540 241 to me that my son1121 has stirred6965 up my servant5650 against5921 me, to lie in wait,693 as at this2088 day?3117

9 Da antwortete6030 Doeg1673, der Edomiter130, der neben den Knechten5650 Sauls7586 stund, und sprach559: Ich sah7200 den Sohn1121 Isais3448, daß er5324 gen Nobe5011 kam935 zu Ahimelech288, dem Sohn1121 Ahitobs285.

9 Then answered6030 Doeg1673 the Edomite,130 which1931 was set5324 over5921 the servants5650 of Saul,7586 and said,559 I saw7200 the son1121 of Jesse3448 coming935 to Nob,5011 to Ahimelech288 the son1121 of Ahitub.285

10 Der fragte7592 den HErrn3068 für ihn und5414 gab5414 ihm Speise6720 und6430 das Schwert2719 Goliaths1555, des Philisters.

10 And he inquired7592 of the LORD3068 for him, and gave5414 him victuals,6720 and gave5414 him the sword2719 of Goliath1555 the Philistine.6430

11 Da sandte der König4428 hin und3548 ließ7971 rufen Ahimelech288, den Priester, den Sohn1121 Ahitobs285, und3548 seines Vaters1 ganzes Haus1004, die Priester, die zu Nobe5011 waren935. Und sie7121 kamen alle zum Könige4428.

11 Then the king4428 sent7971 to call7121 Ahimelech288 the priest,3548 the son1121 of Ahitub,285 and all3605 his father's1 house,1004 the priests3548 that were in Nob:5011 and they came935 all3605 of them to the king.4428

12 Und Saul7586 sprach559: Höre8085, du Sohn1121 Ahitobs285! Er sprach559: Hie bin ich, mein Herr113.

12 And Saul7586 said,559 Hear8085 now,4994 you son1121 of Ahitub.285 And he answered,559 Here2005 I am, my lord.113

13 Und Saul7586 sprach559 zu ihm: Warum habt ihr einen Bund wider mich gemacht7194, du und der Sohn1121 Isais3448, daß du ihm Brot3899 und Schwert2719 gegeben5414 und GOtt430 für ihn gefraget hast7592, daß du ihn erweckest6965, daß er mir nachstelle693, wie es am Tage3117 ist?

13 And Saul7586 said559 to him, Why4100 have you conspired7194 against5921 me, you and the son1121 of Jesse,3448 in that you have given5414 him bread,3899 and a sword,2719 and have inquired7592 of God430 for him, that he should rise6965 against413 me, to lie in wait,693 as at this2088 day?3117

14 Ahimelech288 antwortete6030 dem Könige4428 und sprach559: Und wer ist539 unter allen deinen Knechten5650 als David1732, der getreu ist5493 und des Königs4428 Eidam2860 und gehet in deinem Gehorsam4928 und ist herrlich gehalten3513 in deinem Hause1004?

14 Then Ahimelech288 answered6030 the king,4428 and said,559 And who4310 is so faithful539 among all3605 your servants5650 as David,1732 which is the king's4428 son2860 in law,2859 and goes5493 at413 your bidding,4928 and is honorable3513 in your house?1004

15 Habe ich denn heute3117 erst angefangen2490, GOtt430 für ihn zu fragen7592? Das1697 sei ferne von mir2486! Der König4428 lege7760 solches seinem Knechte5650 nicht auf in meines Vaters1 ganzem Hause1004; denn dein Knecht5650 hat von all diesem nichts1697 gewußt3045, weder Kleines6996 noch Großes1419.

15 Did I then3117 begin2490 to inquire7592 of God430 for him? be it far2486 from me: let not the king4428 impute7760 any3605 thing1697 to his servant,5650 nor to all3605 the house1004 of my father:1 for your servant5650 knew3045 nothing3808 1697 of all3605 this,2063 less6996 or176 more.1419

16 Aber der König4428 sprach559: Ahimelech288 du mußt des Todes4191 sterben4191, du und deines Vaters1 ganzes Haus1004.

16 And the king4428 said,559 You shall surely die,4191 Ahimelech,288 you, and all3605 your father's1 house.1004
|
|
17 Und5324 der König4428 sprach559 zu seinen Trabanten, die neben ihm stunden: Wendet euch5437 und tötet4191 des7971 HErrn3068 Priester; denn ihre Hand3027 ist auch mit241 David1732, und da sie wußten, daß er7323 floh1272, haben3045 sie mir‘s nicht14 eröffnet1540. Aber die Knechte5650 des Königs4428 wollten ihre Hände3027 nicht an6293 die Priester des HErrn3068 legen, sie zu erschlagen.

17 And the king4428 said559 to the footmen7323 that stood5324 about5921 him, Turn,5437 and slay4191 the priests3548 of the LORD:3068 because3588 their hand3027 also1571 is with David,1732 and because3588 they knew3045 when3588 he fled,1272 and did not show1540 it to me. But the servants5650 of the king4428 would14 not put7971 forth7971 their hand3027 to fall6293 on the priests3548 of the LORD.3068

18 Da sprach559 der König4428 zu Doeg1673:. Wende du dich5437 und3548 erschlage6293 die Priester. Doeg1673, der Edomiter130, wandte sich5437 und3548 erschlug die Priester, daß des Tages3117 starben4191 fünfundachtzig2568 Männer376, die leinene906 Leibröcke646 trugen5375.

18 And the king4428 said559 to Doeg,1673 Turn5437 you, and fall6293 on the priests.3548 And Doeg1673 the Edomite130 turned,5437 and he fell6293 on the priests,3548 and slew4191 on that day3117 fourscore8084 and five2568 persons376 that did wear5375 a linen906 ephod.646

19 Und3548 die Stadt5892 der Priester, Nobe, schlug5221 er5011 mit der Schärfe6310 des Schwerts2719, beide Mann376 und Weib802, Kinder5768 und Säuglinge3243, Ochsen7794 und Esel2543 und Schafe7716.

19 And Nob,5011 the city5892 of the priests,3548 smote5221 he with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 both men376 and women,802 children5768 and sucklings,3243 and oxen,7794 and asses,2543 and sheep,7716 with the edge6310 of the sword.2719

20 Es entrann4422 aber ein259 Sohn1121 Ahimelechs288, des Sohns Ahitobs285, der hieß8034 Abjathar54, und1121 floh1272 David1732 nach310.
|
20 And one259 of the sons1121 of Ahimelech288 the son1121 of Ahitub,285 named8034 Abiathar,54 escaped,4422 and fled1272 after310 David.1732

|
21 Und54 verkündigte5046 ihm1732, daß Saul7586 die Priester3548 des HErrn3068 erwürget2026 hätte.
|
21 And Abiathar54 showed5046 David1732 that Saul7586 had slain2026 the LORD's3068 priests.3548
|
|
22 David1732 aber sprach559 zu Abjathar54: Ich wußte3045 es wohl an5046 dem Tage3117, da der Edomiter130 Doeg1673 da war, daß er‘s würde Saul7586 ansagen5046; ich bin schuldig5437 an allen Seelen5315 deines Vaters1 Hauses1004.

22 And David1732 said559 to Abiathar,54 I knew3045 it that day,3117 when3588 Doeg1673 the Edomite was there,8033 that he would surely tell5046 Saul:7586 I have occasioned5437 the death of all3605 the persons5315 of your father's1 house.1004

|
23 Bleibe bei mir und fürchte3372 dich3427 nicht! Wer nach meinem Leben5315 stehet, der soll auch nach deinem Leben5315 stehen1245, und sollst mit mir behalten4931 werden.
|
23 Abide3427 you with me, fear3372 not: for he that seeks1245 my life5315 seeks1245 your life:5315 but with me you shall be in safeguard.4931
