約翰壹書

第1章

1 那［That］從起初原有的生命之道，就是我們所聽見、親眼看見［which we have seen with our eyes］、所看過［which we have looked upon］、親手摸過的；

2 （這生命原［For］已經顯現出來，我們也看見過，現在又作見證，將原與父同在、且顯現與我們那永遠的生命、傳給你們；）

3 我們將所看見、所聽見的傳給你們，使你們與我們相交；我們真是［truly］與父並他兒子耶穌基督相交的。

4 我們將這些話寫給你們，使你們［your］的喜樂滿足［full］。

5 我們從他所聽見、又傳給你們的信息乃是這樣：神就是光，在他毫無黑暗［This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all］。

6 我們若說是與神相交，卻仍在黑暗裏行，就是說謊話，不行真理了；

7 我們若在光明中行，如同神在光明中，就彼此相交，他兒子耶穌基督［Christ］的血也洗淨我們一切的罪。

8 我們若說自己無罪，便是自欺，真理不在我們心裏了。

9 我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要饒恕［forgive］我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。

10 我們若說自己沒有犯過罪，便是以神為說謊的，他的道也不在我們心裏了。

Chapter 1

1 That which3739 was from the beginning,746 which3739 we have heard,191 which3739 we have seen3708 with our eyes,3788 which3739 we have looked2300 on, and our hands5495 have handled,5584 of the Word3056 of life;2222

2 (For the life2222 was manifested,5319 and we have seen3708 it, and bear3140 witness,3140 and show518 to you that eternal166 life,2222 which3748 was with the Father,3962 and was manifested5319 to us;)

3 That which3739 we have seen3708 and heard191 declare518 we to you, that you also2532 may have2192 fellowship2842 with us: and truly1161 our fellowship2842 is with the Father,3962 and with his Son5207 Jesus2424 Christ.5547

4 And these5023 things write1125 we to you, that your5216 joy5479 may be full.4137

5 This3778 then2532 is the message1860 which3739 we have heard191 of him, and declare312 to you, that God2316 is light,5457 and in him is no3756 darkness4653 at3762 all.3762

6 If1437 we say2036 that we have2192 fellowship2842 with him, and walk4043 in darkness,4655 we lie,5574 and do4160 not the truth:225

7 But if1437 we walk4043 in the light,5457 as he is in the light,5457 we have2192 fellowship2842 one3391 with another,240 and the blood129 of Jesus2424 Christ5547 his Son5207 cleans2511 us from all3956 sin.266

8 If1437 we say2036 that we have2192 no3756 sin,266 we deceive4105 ourselves,1438 and the truth225 is not in us.

9 If1437 we confess3670 our sins,266 he is faithful4103 and just1342 to forgive863 us our sins,266 and to cleanse2511 us from all3956 unrighteousness.93

10 If1437 we say2036 that we have not sinned,264 we make4160 him a liar,5583 and his word3056 is not in us.

6 我們若說是與神相交，卻仍在黑暗裏行，就是說謊話，不行真理了；

6 If1437 we say2036 that we have2192 fellowship2842 with him, and walk4043 in darkness,4655 we lie,5574 and do4160 not the truth:225

7 我們若在光明中行，如同神在光明中，就彼此相交，他兒子耶穌基督［Christ］的血也洗淨我們一切的罪。

7 But if1437 we walk4043 in the light,5457 as he is in the light,5457 we have2192 fellowship2842 one3391 with another,240 and the blood129 of Jesus2424 Christ5547 his Son5207 cleans2511 us from all3956 sin.266

8 我們若說自己無罪，便是自欺，真理不在我們心裏了。

8 If1437 we say2036 that we have2192 no3756 sin,266 we deceive4105 ourselves,1438 and the truth225 is not in us.

9 我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要饒恕［forgive］我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。
